I actually think he didn't believe Hürrem would be the murderer here, but on the other hand he is very broken here, the closest persons to him did betray him. İbrahim, Hatice, Mahidevran... They all lied to him and he doesnt know what is truth andymore. So i think this is part of the reason he sent her away. The other reason İ believe is the fact that he loves her nontheless and sending her away now is actually smart in order to protect her from the enemies in his palace. Still, he acts quite harsh towards her.
