Bro fr thats what I think as well!!! Hollywood in general don’t have any powerful themes and emotional thought moot because it is made by amercians. Their styles are only disposable entertainment. They often focus primarily on action and entertainment, with lighter themes and a more fantastical portrayal of this series for example. They focus on the message to bring to the world by making right choices all the time good people all the time. Evil being defeated by good. In media portrayals, Hollywood representations of strong and powerful women often emphasize physical strength, which is often exaggerated and free of flaws. They often have more extreme focus on fantasy, sometimes to the point of being detached from reality. The way characters express their discussing or arguments they talk they talk in a straightforward manner. While this serie does have powerful themes and emotional thought moot. Since is made by Turks not only with the original studio but an origin that has a famous culture and its history, that is artistic. On the other hand, it takes a more in-depth and nuanced approach, incorporating serious themes, psychological exploration, and a greater emphasis on the human condition. Additionally, the representation of characters and their motivations may vary, with the series potentially delving deeper into the characters' emotions and internal struggles. Which means in the world there might be bad people but mostly people do anything to survive and protect their own loved ones. Is war it shows life. Is the law of the jungle. They’re portrayal of women tend to focus on their other qualities such as intuition, emotional intelligence, and manipulation. It reflects the societal values and beliefs of the time, where women were often depicted as cunning and manipulative, using their intelligence and charm to achieve their goals. It incorporates this idea that women, can rule and control the world through their intelligence and psychological power. “Men rule the world but women rule men” It tends to balance realism, which makes it more grounded and relatable. Since it’s history fiction but it also has an artistic expression, they talk in a poetic manner even when they’re about to fight the leader. It also has action fierce battles that aren’t “dry” like Americans, it has more action-oriented and realism-portrayal, with emphasis on physical strength and visual aesthetics. It has summed up the anticipation, excitement, and emotional payoff that can be experienced. For example when a character, who has suffered greatly throughout the story, finally faces their tormentor, the audience's anticipation reaches a peak. As the character pursues their enemy through the crowd, the viewer becomes invested in the outcome of the chase. The mixture of relief, anxiety, anger, and eventually satisfaction when the enemy is killed creates a powerful emotional payoff. The added element of the enemy believing they are safe only to be ambushed from behind adds a satisfying surprise but there are also un satisfied surprises. It focused on the meaning of life.

I really don't understand why everyone hates Farya! She has a perfect attitude as a princess. I find her bold, humble, strong, honest and loving at the same time, whatever is necessary. I know. Imagine, always having to surpress any kind of anger, disappointment or other negative emotions, when with your lover and co parent. She always has to be this smiling, loving, submissive 'slave wife' or risk him getting angry or dismissive. She can't get away...one word from him and she could get separated from her kids forever. And then the constant fear of being replaced by a new girl with possibly desastrous consequences for yourself and/or your kids. It's beyond cruel. I feel so sorry for her, even though she isn't a particularly likeable character and does, of course, do horrible things herself.

As someone who was born poor but became upper middle class on my own, without doing something to be ashamed of, I can tell you money are just a tool. Yes, money can save your life, allowing you to buy good food, good healthcare, a safe house, bodyguards, etc, but money can't buy you real love, real friendship, good manners, happiness, etc. This is why many people that come from "old money" hide their wealth, so they would not attract users and abusers and so they would be liked for who they really are. The Ottoman dynasty members could not hide who they were for long and the ruthless "game of thrones" they had to play to survive was taking its toll on them. Sultans had a harem of beautiful women, but they knew that very few of those women would love them if they weren't their slaves and if they had other options. No wonder Murad didn't love Ayse but loved Farya, who loved him just as he was, flaws & all. Kasim and later Ibrahim fell for slave girls of their brother's harem that risked their life to be with them, proving their sincerity. Bayazid fell for a free woman that flirted openly with him while he was in disguise and she had no idea who he really was. They all wanted to be loved for who they were. The pashas and the other high dignitaries had to be strong and cunning to get to that position and many were also handsome. The sultanas were either ex-concubines recruited for their beauty, but became sultanas by defeating their opponents, or they were born out of a sultan and a beautiful concubine, so chances were high that sultanas were pretty and cunning. As pashas and sultanas met often, and were often political allies, no wonder many fell in love with each other. Some were lucky to wed, some paid their romance with their lives.

Yes. Farya’s nanny is definitely the mother figure in her life. But then again historically Queen Catherine could only have been Farya’s step mother since Catherine of Brandenberg married Prince Gabriel Bethlen in about 1628 or 1629 - about 3 years before season 2 starts. So Farya would have had to be the daughter of Gabriel Bethlen & his first wife who passed away some years before that

The bow scene is taken from the tale of Odysseus' bow a famous story about how the returning hero strung it after no suitor who had pursued his wife Penelope, for twenty years had been able to do so. It was a diplomatic move to fend off the string of rivals who hoped to win her hand in marriage after the death of Odysseus. Penelope was repeatedly asked to get married and this annoyed her. So Penelope set up a bow and stringing contest, which will involve not only stringing her absent husband's bow but shooting through the target too. All the suiters failed to string the bow; except Odysseus who was a peasant strings the bow and shoots the target. And Penelope seeing this knew this was no other than her husband Odysseus.
@Pashasmom1
@Pashasmom1 Жыл бұрын
The bow scene is actually true and was not stolen from The Odyssey. You can find the story online or in books about history. I have a book and the story and the picture of the broken bow. Please check your history before making a comment.
@melaniemakaronis7059
@melaniemakaronis7059 Жыл бұрын
@Lillie Halumi I suggest you read your literature carefully. The bow scene by Murad IV is a widely known historical event, and it is often depicted in historical literature, art, and films. It is said that Murad IV executed one of his Grand Viziers, Mustafa Pasha, by using a bow and arrow himself. The reason for this unusual execution method was to send a message to the other members of his court that he would not hesitate to execute even those in the highest positions of power if they were found guilty of treason. While there is no complete certainty about the exact details of this event, it is considered a significant event in Ottoman history and has been retold many times in different forms. Let me also say, there is no historical evidence to support the claim that Murad IV tied a bow to show his strength. This story is actually a part of Greek mythology where Penelope, the wife of Odysseus, challenges her suitors to string Odysseus' bow to prove their worthiness as a husband. It is possible that the story of Murad IV executing his Grand Vizier with a bow was later embellished with elements of the ancient Greek myth to emphasize Murad IV's power and authority. Therefore, the claim that Murad IV tied the bow to show his strength is likely a myth rather than a historical fact. Thanks for your feedback.

@melaniemakaronis7059
@melaniemakaronis7059 Жыл бұрын
@Lillie Halumi my first comment was about Murad IV stringing the bow and nothing to do with the broken bow at Topkapi palace museum that bow belonged to Sultan Ahmed I. Historically, the Broken Bow at Topkapi Museum is a historical artifact dating back to the early 17th century. It belonged to the Ottoman Sultan Ahmed I, who reigned between 1603-1617. The bow was broken during a hunting trip, and the Sultan ordered the bow to be kept at the Imperial Palace. It was later transferred to Topkapi Palace, where it is displayed as part of the Museum's collection. The Broken Bow is significant in Ottoman history as it represents the sultans' interest and passion for hunting, which was a popular pastime. It also serves as a reminder of the luxurious lifestyle that the Ottoman sultans were accustomed to, and their love for extravagance. Today, the Broken Bow is a popular attraction at Topkapi Museum for those interested in Ottoman history and culture.

When I see this episode it makes me resolve never to come between a couple. Princess Farya felt terrible when Sultan didn't turn up (she didn't know he wld come later). Sultana Ayse had the same feelings when Sultan didn't turn up for her. What is there to gloat if he comes to u? If someone is with another, leave him/her alone. Let them be happy together. It is not the place of another to separate. We would not like it done to ourselves. The heartache is great. Do unto others what we would like done to ourselves. In the modern day where it is stressed to do what your hesrt feels, it is not correct. Don't break up a couple, or a marriage , or a family. Whether one believes there is a God or not, principally it is not correct. Don't steal what belongs to another. There are other fish in the ocean. Look for someone who is not taken. That is ethically correct. If he/she can leave his/her spouse for u, he/she can leave u for another.

The idea of the bow and arrow comes from Odyssey. Homer said that when Ulysses came back to Ithaka, many suitors had settled in his palace eating his food and drinking his wine and trying to force themselves on his throne and his wife. He returned in the disguise of a beggar and with the help of godess Athena and his son Telemachos set the suitors on a trap. "Whoever stretches the bow of Ulysses will marry Penelope and get the throne". They all tried and lost. The beggar was last. They scolded and even hit him. But he managed to do it, as it was his and he only knew the trick. He killed all the suitors and the sevants who helped them and got back his wife and his regal wife. :) Sorry for the long post. Just wanted you to know. 🥰😍

You know...I don't mind, that Fahrya is a made up character and all that...but can we keep things a little bit realistic? A CHRISTIAN princess just sleeps with a Muslim out of wedlock...has no moral/religious qualms about it even afterwards...her lady in waiting and her mother, the queen, aren't horrified and disgusted...even encourage her... that's not how things worked, back then. I mean yes... concubines, abducted and enslaved as young girls and then raised into this life might have found it easy enough, to convert at some point. But a grown up woman from a noble family would have been raised to be deeply religious and to rather die, then do something like that.

Exactly it's weird to see Farya so chill about fornication when in history this would have been seen as not only an abomination but a disgrace to society. A Christian princesses virtue was literally a commodity but I suppose it's because this is a secular show 😂
