I was lucky enough to have a white tailed eagle perched outside my house in the suburbs,the crows that normally live in the trees had been going crazy all morning and when I looked up I saw this enormous shape dominating a branch,it dwarfed the many crows around it.When it finally took flight,it was like seeing a pterodacyl flying away.I'll never forget seeing it,magnificent creature!

@anthonyrooksmith31895 ай бұрын
@Astronurd a golden eagle is more regal and majestic but a white sea eagle especially the females are breath taking and exceptionally powerful, and built like tanks. I would say a female sea eagle is more impressive than a female golden eagle personally. I have seen both live, at falconry shows.

That species looks so much larger than our bald eagle and golden eagles! I’ve seen a Stellas sea eagle once and it very close to this specimen here. Wow what a magnificent bird!
@_Artem_42011 ай бұрын
Bald eagles are generally larger than white-tailed eagles. Bald eagles typically have a wingspan ranging from 6 to 7 feet (1.8 to 2.1 meters) and can weigh between 8 to 14 pounds (3.6 to 6.3 kilograms). In comparison, white-tailed eagles usually have a slightly smaller wingspan, ranging from 7 to 8 feet (2.1 to 2.4 meters), and a similar weight range. While there can be some variability within each species, the bald eagle is generally larger in size than the white-tailed eagle.
Love Eagles. They are so majestic. Thanks for bringing the real world to us.

OH ROBERT!!You are an extraordinary photographer that will benefit generations to come!! 😃❤️ here in Florida we have the Osprey which locals call the fishhawk. I have seen them dive and get fish but they get their wings wet. My father's family came from Scotland so the scenery you had was magnificent! Could you tell me or maybe have a video that shows what is the difference between a hawk and an eagle? I have often wondered what distinguishes the two Raptors and nobody has ever been able to tell me. Thank you for a wonderful video of Scotland and their famous eagle. I hope one day to visit my father's family's Homeland and I will definitely look up the white-tailed eagle!!! Thank you for your wildlife support!! I havevfollowed you for years & you NEVER disappoint. ❤️💖🦅🦅
@sylphofthewildwoods55182 жыл бұрын
His work is so professional. I enjoy Robert's style. As for the hawks and eagles. Mostly, it's their size, wingspan and strength, as well as nesting habits. They often have the same diet, and calls are also similar. But usually, hawks are smaller and more prolific than eagles, where there are also a few discrepancies as some eagles can be smaller than hawks, but it's rare. I love birds and I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia where we have many different species. Hope y'all are doing okay in this hideous storm. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Sunshine State.
