The dress of Suleiman bears a lot of meaning. He wore the same kind of dress (white and golden printed) that shehzade Mustafa wore on his last day. Suleiman also wore the crown that Ibrahim pasha gifted him, thus symbolizing he never forgot their memories nor he ever forgave himself for doing what he did. The director of the show did a marvelous job.

Me too watched the last episode today i.e. 12 August, Monday. I hv been watching this series since April/May'2024... I was having addiction into it until I finish the last episode but now I m free from it but gained lots of knowledge that what actually life is... Pain, sorrows, suffering, struggle, victory and love...and lastly we leave this world with good feeling from our near ones and nothing all.

Today 27 sept 2024, i finished watching this series start from June 2024. Satisfying. And sad at the same time. I wish they all together manage the empire/dynasty without any murder. Mustafa as sultan, and the other prince manage other province with peace. No blood spill and they have their own family strength.

I really want to see how Nurbanu and Safiye destroy each other and then Safiye become so Magnificent like in Kosem series. I like how Safiye thretening Nurbanu with mind and classy. It'so in line with how Hulya Avsar play Old Safiye.

The one and only failure of Sultan Suleiman Khan as a ruler was not leaving a worthy successor for his empire and subjects. It was his duty to provide and the right of his ancestors, The empire and most of all his subjects to have a just and worthy ruler after him. Dosent matter how many sons or grandsons he killed, he should have leave a competent succesor like his father and the ones before them. If he wanted selim to become next sultan then he must have trainned him likewise. However, he wasnt the only one to lack in this field, most of the extremely successful rulers failed in this aspect of ruling, either he is Suleiman or Akbar of India. This is the problem with huge trees, their shadow dont let the emerging trees to grow as well as they are, as they are taking all the sunlight. Similarly, in this case any tree who tried to outgrow the magnificent, was cut by him, even if that emerging tree was his own seed. But still there were some rulers in history who managed to maintain their supremacy at the same time nurshing an emerging tree. And they were truly great rulers. This is the true defination of magnificence. Or else anything you acheives after the hardships of your life, an unworthy successors would ruin them all like it was done to the ottomans. Still his contributions as king can not be overshadowed by his decisions as a father. He was a just and successful king, who failed in only one task as a ruler....
