It looks more like a veil. And it really makes the Sultanas look beautiful. Also, even that is not historically accurate. Sultanas of that era were dressed more the way Nigar is dressed in this clip. In this regard, the series distorts the truth a bit. But, contrary to you, I’d say it’d be cool to have such dresses, like Sultanas wear, today.

@@WatermelonCat-yc4bq Nigar is the one dressed troubling. It’s really not a a veil. I’m Catholic. Went to Catholic schools with a few nuns left and some wore the habit which includes a veil. Nothing like a veil. Nothing like hijab or scarf used by married Jewish or veil used by praying orthodox Christian women. She has a blanket over her head. She looks like a covered coat rack.

It is sickening to see the mental and emotional conditions these women lived in. There is only one fault - HAREM. If the ruler had one wife like King Jagiełło (Teutonic times in Poland) or other kings and there was only one successor, there would not be this snake-like behavior.
