This was Meryem's last performance as Hürrem Sultan. Meryem did such an amazing job and her play will be missed.

Many years passed and I still can't believe that Hürrem's role with Meryem Uzerli had so bad end! This role destroyed her health day after day, while people loved her through this! But of course health is above all! Meryem looked in the mirror and saw Hürrem, not herself! Fortunately, she could stand on her own feet and started a new life! Anyway, this was Meryem's last episode and it doesn't matter how many times people watch this series, we will always remember her this role, Hürrem's role inside Meryem's act!!

I can't get over how incredible Sah's actress was during the confrontation with Lutfi Pasha, and after - we know what a strong person she is, and how she was completely destroyed was incredibly difficult to watch. Of all Suleiman's sisters, she is the only one I respected.

All the sisters were always in the past. Hurrem did this, did that, took over the harem. They couldn't accept the fact that their brother is in love and is being loved. It was so easy to just welcome her and shower love. She could've reciprocated the same way.

yeah a good bit of irony and a healthy dose of foreshadowing there... But he wasn't the worst (even tho he killed his sons and his grandsons) but his great grandson murdered his 19 siblings as soon as he came to the throne. He created quite the scandal even tho people knew about the law. Later he also killed his son too and died soon after...

Nigar deserved a better ending. She was so good. Ibrahim was the worst thing to ever happen to her. If he had not forced Nasuh Effendi to divorce her, if he had let them grow to love each other, she would likely have many children and be living in safety -- and likely still Hurrem's ally.

Bayezid is in the dream sequence, lying between Selim and Cihangir. If you slow down the video playback to .25, you can see a brief glimpse of him at 1:34:11 on the left side of the screen as the camera pans over to Cihangir's and Mihrimah's bodies.
