But, instead Selim should accuse himself for his own actions and falses, he always prefered to transfer to Beyazid his problems and tried many times to creat a wedge between Beyazid and Syleiman. Is that the fact that Selim wanted to get along with his brothers, the time that he betray both Mustafa and Beyazid, but also Cihangir? Is that true that Selim wasn't evil just like his parents and tried many times and finally killed his own brother? Selim was the only jealous in there. Because both Cihangir and Beyazid had accepted and also were happy that their eldest brother Mustafa would take the throne one day. But Selim no, he should do something to prevent this. He didn't think although that after Mustafa's execution and the sudden death of Cihangir, he should fight with his brave and strongest brother, Prince Beyazid and Hurrem Sultana (even she was snake and traitor), would never accept this to happen. She would never accept the fact that her two only alive remaining sons would be rivals and have fights and dial war fights. As for the throne, after Mustafa's injustice execution, the next Prince who was accepted as the next Sultan was Prince Beyazid and not Selim. Many say that Selim had been assassinated. Others say that he had fallen over the balcony, while he was drunk and he fallen over the top of the roof.

And how is Hurrem ever a traitor? She never saw anyone on that throne except Suleyman. Every time Suleyman fallen ill and almost died Mahidevran was getting ready to take role of Valide while Hurrem was suffering and having poison in her hands. Saying Hurrem is a traitor just means you didn't even watch the show. Why is she a traitor? Because of Mustafa's death? Yes, both her and Rustem had hand in Mustafa's death, but indirectly. Mustafa's arrogance, overreach and greed were the reason Suleyman doubted him so much. And Mahidevran killed Mehmet directly, directly ordered his death without a molecul of remorse. I strongly suggest watching show again.

Selim was not a character with many heroic moments, but he outgrew his usual self in this and took after his mother's fierce personality. I know everyone blames Hurrum for the bad relationship between Selim and Bayzid . But she had 5 children and cihanger was ill from birth . Mehmet being first born ,cihanger for his illness and Mihirma being the only girl got most of her attention. Selim and Bayzid are only one year apart and Bayzid is little too passionate about everything .They learned all their skills in childhood together and those two being so different from one another a conflict is easy to start . Bayzid was always thinking that he is so much better than Selim and unnecessarily always teased him . As they aged those conflicts only went further. And with valide , Mahi , Ibrahim and many other girls coming to Suleiman's life it is not very uncommon for her ignore their fights in the childhood .she did get involved when things got bad but even if she is their they are their own persons in the end . Can't just blame her for all their problem?

Well he lacked Common sense in many things, one is obvious out of all his sons he choose the worst one, a lazy, non-talented drunkard as his successor, killed Mustafa out of no apparent reason, ordered the killing of Bayezid too, only because of Selim. ​​@@surazeenah Can't give my opinion because it's private and I don't thing it will be acceptable on youtube. Evidence are plenty. Education: Suleiman was a teacher. He seemed to be comfortable passing on his knowledge. He was the only son of Selim left alive, so Bayazid ll and Selim l taught him all that they knew. He seemed to have soaked up knowledge like sponge. His first student was Ibrahim. Taught him everything about warfare and the inner working of Ottoman politics because unlike other leading administrators, he didn't come up through the palace school system. Mustapha would have been the next person but he refused to learn. He did not like the early start at the divan. He decided to learn from the janissary corp. You know what happened by now. They treated him with deference and they had very good times but went back to their training when he's not there. Hurrem's sons on the other hand had impeccable excellent training. They might have had it difficult sometimes but their parents encouraged them to persevere. They were taken to war as soon as they were circumcised including Cihangir. Mustapha was never taken to war. Mehmet was being trained as the next sultan and everyone knew. Suleiman's nickname for him was 'the best of all the princes' nobody minded except Mahidevran. Finances: Sancak beys were supposed to send a portion of taxes collected to the capital. Mustapha and his half brothers did. The difference between them was Suleiman gave eye watering about of money to Hurrem and since she only spend money helping the poor, she gave it to her sons to help the poor in their provinces. The result was they were very wealthy. Hence the need to liase with the Venetians, pashas and the Persians. Mustapha and his mother also spent a lot of money on bribery so that when they take step to enthrone Mustapha people will be with them. Conclusion: Remember the Venetians bribed Mehmet ll doctor to kill him. His support was transactional. The Venetians and Persians wanted their lands back. The pashas just wanted money and power. Mahidevran was power and jewellery. So Mustapha had no knowledge, power, education or ability apart from the fact that he felt entitled. So this is my proof and evidence.

Im all on hurrem's side for whatever she did to protect her sons and suleyman from scavengers. But tge problem here ia mustafa. He was good, never had bad intentions and always loved his sibling. When you kill an innocent person ,all of your sins will come to haunt you. Same happened with hurrem. She killed mustafa unjustly.hence cihangir and bayezid paid for her sins. Whereas mahidevran paid the price of killing poor mehmet. Mehmet i feel was the best, good natured,loyal and most mature prince. He would have become the best sultan ever
