I know that Hurrem didn't dream anyone else except from Syleiman as the Sultan, but since she chosen Beyazid as her beloved Prince to the throne and she swore to him that she would protect him, she should be more careful and made plots against Selim and make Beyazid the only representator to the throne. Besides, Syleiman was 70 years old, one day he would die, after all he was a human, just like all the people, so he wouldn't be able to be forever the Sultan, so Hurrem's opportunity (if she would be able to use it properly and play it well, just she did it all these years of plotting) was to make Selim lose his opportunity betrays Beyazid and so Hurrem would betray Selim and Beyazid would be the Sultan. As for Selim, he would be killed or be executed and Beyazid would be the Sultan and Selim's children would be killed after him or along with him. Hurrem and Mihrimah would be safe and sound and Beyazid would be Sultan and one day Beyazid's eldest son would be the Sultan, just like him. But Hurrem didn't play it well and Rustem betrayed both Beyazid and Hurrem's memory in the end.

In starting when Suleiman left mahidevran for hurrem i felt sad for her but this time in case of hurrem while watching the scene of firuze reading suleiman's letter , it literally was painful. No matter what you say that it was not cheating he is a sultan and all that , a man ( or woman ) like that just can't be trusted. He broke rules for hurrem , he send russian slaves away to prove his love for her but the moment a younger , interesting woman came , it is all gone . Being a woman it hurt me seriously.
