The new Hurrem does not have the fire and passion of the original Hurrem, too bad she had to leave the show. They also omitted so much of when Hurrem returned, no explanation of where she was, how long she was gone, how Bali Bey found her, no emotion in her face on the death of her beloved Mehmet, why didn't Hatice kill her as it was the one thing she wanted to do. They just left us hanging! Producers did a very bad job of it!

First time was when he found a track of Aga that was responsible for kidnapping but he didn't tell the majesty immediately (because the track could've been fake), he just told him he was going home. The second time they insinuated was when Hurem returned and Bali Bey was watching from behind. (In translation: the clue about aga was not fake, he managed to find her eventually)

Am confused with the ages of suleymans sisters. So Hurrem is older than Hatice and Fatma? If am not mistaken, when Hurrem was taken to the palace she was between 14 to 15 while Suleymen was 26. So thats 11 yrs age gap. I pressume that Fatma is older than Hurrem. Is my analysis is correct?

Looking it up, information not complete. Going by time of marriages (four sisters born sometime before 1494 by Selim I and Hafsa Hatun). Hatice possibly born 1487-90 as married in 1509. Hafize possibly born 1489-91, married 1511. Beyhan possible born 1491-92, married 1513. Fatma possibly born 1493, married in 1516. All of Suleiman's sisters were born before him (Nov 1494). Sah was the youngest - born in 1500, married late - in 1523 with different mother. Hurrem was born probably in 1504, had Mehmed in 1521 (age 17), and married to Suleiman in 1533 (age 29). She was younger than all of Sulieman's sisters.

There were some strange rules in those days, of course. So why send a concubine to the Sultan, who is already of a decent age and has four adult, healthy sons? It is clear that if there was only one son, this would put the well-being of the dynasty at risk, but there are four of them. Even Jihangir, to the extent that he, the poor fellow, was considered an inferior freak, would have done well if there had been no one left besides him. They would quickly put him on the throne, because there was no one else anyway. Like, why bother having children, they won’t even live to reach adulthood anyway, or they’ll survive, but not for very long. Suleiman will die and they will all be safely suffocated. It’s even stranger that all these years Suleiman was not interested in concubines, but then suddenly he became interested, and even managed to have a child with one. I don’t think that the contraceptives of that time were a great success, Hurrem would definitely give birth to at least one more child. And everyone was happy with everything, and then she went through menopause and you suddenly needed concubines. It’s generally very strange that after so many years, after such a painful separation, Suleiman was able to want someone other than his wife. It is clear that Fatma is trying to hurt and humiliate Hurrem in this way, but what about the rest? Why does Afife Hatun act out all of a sudden, as if she has nothing else to do? Hurrem is the legal wife of the Sultan, she herself is able to figure out whether her husband needs concubines or not.
