Firuze's secret is exposed!
Suleiman finds out about Firuze's secret that she shares with no one. Hürrem's hand gets stronger and wants an explanation with all her self-confidance from Sultana Hatice that she has protected Firuze for years. Firuze gets endungeoned and she gets questioned by İbrahim Pasha.
Meanwhile, Prince Mustafa intends to solemnize with Helena although Mahidevran warns him. After that, Mahidevran wants to get rid of Helena. She infroms İbrahim Pasha via a letter and wants him to meet with Mustafa.
As Suleiman gets informed by İbrahim about the political landscape in Europe, Sultana Hürrem meets with Ebusuud Efendi and asks for help to do charity work for the foundation which she found in her name. This also is a new alliance against İbrahim.
As Hürrem waits for the decision about Firuze, the letter Mahidevran has sent to İbrahim arrives to the palace. İbrahim accepts to meet with Mustafa and writes a letter and orders Yahya of Taşlıca to get it to Manisa. However, Sultana Hürrem gets the letter thanks to Rüstem Aga.
As Suleiman waits for Mustafa's decision about Helena, İbrahim Pasha sticks with Mustafa and defends him. İbrahim Pasha tells Suleiman that he will go to Edirne but he sets off to Bursa to meet with Mustafa.
What will happen to Firuze? Will Prince Mustafa get married with Helena? Will the secret meeting of Mustafa and İbrahim be exposed? Will Helena be able to protect her life after Mustafa leaves?
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.

Mahidevran was just "Mahidevran Hatun" . "Sultan" was only for blood Princesses and Süleyman made it an exception for Hürrem. He broke every rule for her. He made her The Empress of The Ottoman Empire, which gave her equal status to him. Which means she never bowed to anyone, not even to Süleyman's sisters.

I think more was the placement of what she said 🤩 She didn't just say it because it's what he said to her, NO she said it while proving that while she didn't like the woman she indeed only did it because it was for his safety. I would like to point out my observations of this episode that are noteworthy. -Firstly when Suleiman went to Hurrem about Firuzes imprisonment unlike the time when Hurrem was thrown in the dungeon he did not immediently order for her release instead he asked Hurrem why she threw her in the dungeon. This is a VERY clear sign that what he feels for Hurrem is different compared to Firuze. If he really loved Firuze so much he would have had her released first and THEN asked for reasons. But he did not. -Secondly once he sees Firuze enter and smile,let us compare it with when he sees Hurrem. With Hurrem his eyes twinkle and his smile is broad,his whole face is radiating happiness and shines like the Sun. But Firuze it is different,he does smile faintly which people could interpret as tenderness the same with his eyes but if one looks closely it is not the case. His eyes are glassy unfocused yet seem to only see her,he is 'enchanted'. Literally I mean. With her his mind is clouded but when Hurrem calls to him you can see he regains clarity right away and focuses on the matter at hand. Firuze is confirmed a witch who spelled Suleiman into 'loving' her. This gives Firuze so much confidance and WHY she always tells Hurrem about their 'love'. Of course Hurrem never trusted her,she knew true love and Firuze never loved Suleiman. Firuze herself did not expect Suleiman to stll love Hurrem as he did. He was suppossed to only love HER and only have eyes for HER. But he truly loved Hurrem foiling Firuzes plan from completely unfolding. So she tries breaking Hurrem and having her give up on Suleiman so Suleiman would give up on her completely and fall under her spell wholly. It failed of course. I believe that is why she always touched Suleiman so much when begging to better influence him letting her live so she could leave.

I like your analysis of the whole situation concerning Suleyman's and firuze's relationship and I agreed with you too that firuze enchanted and bewitched Suleyman for a while until Hureem woke him up with her love and loyalty to him and the dynasty. Hureem was lucky that instead of killing firuze and thus dirty her hands with firuze's blood, rustem came up with this idea of exposing her connection to the enemy's dynasty. Then she's not accused of being a murderer but instead a heroine exposing a spy who managed to sneak into the harem and then the world's sultan's chamber. As well as bringing down Hureem's enemies Ibrahim and hatice.

Vahide is a wonderful actress....but the entire second half of the series was missing Meryem's sass and attitude...only she could give Hurrem the personality needed to succeed in defeating all against her. Vahide was too giving, submissive and light in playing Hurrem. She didn't have Meryem's spark. As for "Firuze"....she may have loved Suleiman (though he clearly did not love her as is seen in the hardness of his eyes when he finds out she's Persian)....however, we forget that she was indeed a spy , that she was taken back to Persia to report to the shah and the real Firuze and that after she left Suleiman nearly died....so how did she poison him?

I love that having masterfully set everything in motion Hurrem stands there almost giddy with excitement waiting for Sulieman to come to her to demand answers as she knows he will. You can tell that she just can't wait to tell him and essentially throw in his face exactly who his " favorite " really is.
