Hurrem takes an action to clean her bloody hands. The news that Hatice is missing comes in the palace like a bombshell. Sultana Sah accuses Hurrem and this drives Mihrimah up the wall. As Suleiman holds himself resposible for that Hatice is missing, he gets devastated because of the news Malkocoglu brings. He wants an explanation from Hurrem under the effect of the suspicion preying on his mind.
As Hatice lies on the ground in a welter of blood. Hurrem pulls herself together as Sumbul clamours and she makes a plan right away. She has to whitewash this incident. Otherwise, she will be executed with Suleiman's own decision.
The news that Hatice is missing raises the devil in the palace. As Sultana Sah thinks that Hurrem has a finger in it, Suleiman holds himself responsible. He gives orders for her sister to be found.
Meanwhile in Manisa, Mahidevran gets disturbed that Gabriela isi around Mustafa all the time. As Mustafa and Gabriela gets closer, Gabriela starts showing her true color. Bali Bey gets confused because of Mihrimah's distant attitude. He learns that a letter has been written to Mihrimah as if it's Bali Bey and starts to look for that person.
While everyone looks for Hatice, she shows up out of the blue. When she tells everything happened to her, Suleiman gets shocked. He has to make a important decision about Hurrem.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

And because of the bias of the royal family towards servants, they ignored Nigar kalfa when she blatantly told them that it was completely possible that Hürrem was laying a larger trap. I mean, who served who for yrs? Who would know a person better than the ppl that serve them? They walked into the trap perfectly and it led Süleyman to finally accept his horrid sister was crazy and to send her off, which was Hürrem’s ultimate goal 😘👌🏾😂 Hürrem sultan forever ❤️

What kills me about all this is the women in this show (which I am obsessed with and all the actors and actresses are flipping amazing and because I binge watch I’ve picked up little phrases in Turkish!!) is Hatice, Mahidevran, Fatima, Valide, etc do awful horrible things to Hurrem. Then when she retaliates they are like “OH POOR ME WHY IS SHE SO MEAN??” Hurrem has her own bad moments, but I really do see mostly her retaliating for horrible treatment.

Regarding Firuze or Isabella - it was such a culture back then, that sultan had a lot of women to sleep with. Hurrem looks like she went from another world (literally, cause born non-Muslim) and was like omg "why is sultan cheating on me". Hey that was the culture and all people out there were used to it. Even late Valide who did not like her late husband doing the same, had to accept it. Hurrem came there with her own rules and tried to change the culture. Hurrem never truly saw Hatice as an enemy or even a formidable opponent. If anything, she saw her as pitiful. And she often felt pity for her wrong choice of attaching herself to Ibrahim Pasha and, in turn, used to propagate Mahidveran's interest. She had loved and respected Hatice. And at one point, saw her as a neutral entity in the game of thrones, albeit the fact that she was married to her sworn enemy. That is until the Sultana's pitiful attempts to "protect" her husband's interest pitted them against each other. Unlike her other siblings who stood against Hurrem, I don't think Hatice was motivated by championing Mustafa's cause as much as her extreme fear that Hurrem will one day do away with Ibrahim. Of course, she wasn't wrong in harboring that fear, but that reason made her look weak in the eyes of Hurrem.

To be honest, I think Hürrem resisted doing that precisely because of it seeming to be the easy solution. Gülfem, really, makes that clear when she claims that, no matter what, she'll believe Hürrem to be guilty. If Hatice's death had been staged in such a way, the suspicion would still linger that she had, in fact, been murdered, which could impact Hürrem negatively. Instead, with Hatice alive but thoroughly discredited, Hürrem is in the clear no matter how others might suspect.

I think they didn’t end her that quickly because they have to make sure Hatice died during the same year that the real Hatice Sultana died in history. During this time is probably not the time when the real history Hatice died in. They probably plan on making the characters death timeline slightly accurate to real history.

In regards to this, I actually don't think it applies, in large part due to the fact that the show has absolutely played around with the historical dates of events before (ex: Selim is depicted as being born during Ibrahim's marriage to Hatice; except Selim was born in 1524 when Ibrahim's wedding occurred in a full year earlier in 1523). Not to mention, we actually don't know how the real Hatice died so there's plenty of room to play around as a writer there.
