I love the confederate statues at Gettysburg. I was there for the dedication of Longstreet’s monument. 😊

@@michelehumphrey852 Fascinating! We’re in Sharpsburg and often visit Gettysburg and park by the Longstreet monument to admire it and all the other confederate statues. That must’ve been a great experience!

wmschooley1234 - I doubt it, but if you want to go down that road, look up what happened in Toledo, Ohio in July 2021. A large mural of George Floyd (on the side of a brick building) was turned into a pile of bricks - via a huge bolt to George's image, right between his eyes. "Mother Nature?" (As you termed it). There are several news videos out here on KZbin reporting this story. P.S. Cheers and thanks to all the legally recognized Veterans of the USA - including the Confederate soldiers!

@@rivaridge7211 I totally agree "Cheers and thanks to all the legally recognized Veterans of the USA " Those who wore Union Blue, those who lived, suffered and died during the War of the Rebellion to preserve the UNION helped make the USA what it is today. The flag that flies in honor over this cemetery IS the Stars and Stripes. My roots run unapologetically for Union and the USA from the War of the Rebellion, WW I, WW II and Vietnam.
