Holly I live 1.5 hours away from the Silos and have been twice! On the first visit the Gaines family was actually filming on the rooftop! As we were leaving the Silos, Chip jumped out of his truck and visited with us! We took a pic and talked college football! On my #2nd visit we ate at the Magnolia Table and bought delicious cupcakes at the bakery before heading over to the Silos, which was beautifully decorated for Fall! We saw their new coffee house under construction, down the street from the Silos! Y’all saw so much in Waco. Your sweet MIL is so fun! So glad you made it to Texas!

I've lived here 62 years, and I am amazed how many people come here to see the Magnolia Silos, I was here when those silos were in operation. the restaurant was called the Elite Cafe. it has been there for probably 75 years or more. I've never been inside the silo area. I've eaten at the Elite Cafe 3 times. I have never been in there sinse the new owners took over. Glad they're here, made the property values go up. but I dought I will ever go to Magnolia. Just doesn't interest me. Your video tour was the most I've seen since they moved here. Thanks, about what I expected. We do have a lot of nice things here in Waco. I guess I'm just used to seeing it all. Have Fun, enjoy. Thanks for coming.

colt kwilkerson I like to visit Homestead Heritage much better. Things at Magnolia are so overpriced. You can find same things at Home Goods or other stores. Been to Elite Cafe several times. Native Texan here.

Hi Holly, I just love it there, I’ve been with my sister a couple times. Hope to go again to see some of the new things they have. They’ve done a wonderful job there to make people feel welcome. I love it all and be sure to get some food from the food trucks, so tasty. Enjoy, Happy New Year!

I’m a Texas gal. We live in NE Texas and have been there quite a few times. The experience is worth it weather you buy anything or not. The bakery is my fav. Everything is delicious. And of course Magnolia Table! The entire downtown area is cute.
