I'm using the non-serazor version of that broadhead with my compound bow, but I decided to use the VPA Omega 150gr with the bleeder blade for my Crossbow ( K I Fatal-X) setup. Both heads are performing perfectly in my practice, my hunting results will be on me! Really like your videos, keep up the good work!

Love your videos! I live in michigan as well and love to hunt with a crossbow. I just purchased a swat x1 and would like some input from you on lubing crossbow. Thanks and keep the videos coming! God bless

I should do a video on this. The short answer is use a Q-tip to put rail lube on the top and bottom of the barrel where the string rides. Thanks for your support!

generally don't shoot past 40 yards so it's all good. Using Sirius Ranch Fairy single bevel and a 625 grain arrow at the moment, no flight issue at all.

Looks like they shot well Matt. Another great review. I wish I could afford some Phoenix arrows, but those are a little out of my ballpark. Even the heads are getting a bit on the expensive side for me, but I may just see if I can tuck my pennies away and try some of these broadheads this summer I shoot a different brand that looks very, very similar to these in the 150 weight and they shoot lights out as well out of almost every x bow I have

Well, it’s been two months. Did you decide between the stinger or this single bevel ?

Single bevels for sure in my compound. Crossbow still undecided...may just bring both!

Which crossbow was that? I’m looking for one that doesn’t cost more than a rifle. Good review.

Another good test. Every bowhunter should test his/her/whatever arrow broadhead combination out past their maximum hunting rsnge. Why past? Imagine you just shot a nice 10 pointer at 20 yrds and had a non bad hit. The deer ran to 60 yrds but stopped when you grunted. If you know your gear as you should and can calm yourself down a second shot may get you that deer before it goes off to die in some unknown place.

Would you please tell me the QUALITY of the killer instinct SWAT X one Crossbow… I can’t find any reviews on the bow… performance, long-term reliability…. Considering buying one I have shot Excalibur for years.

@ I looked everywhere for 1… found one new one on eBay but the seller was from a pawn shop decided not to get it …. I called Bass pro.. and the guy put me in touch with Wyvern Creations a dealer in New Hampshire… The guy told me that the Bow had been discontinued to my dismay… but he said Killer instinct was coming out with a new version in a couple of months!! Can’t wait!! I sure to be getting myself one 😎

Maybe it's a lightning trick but I swear that it looks like those have a very shallow bevel on the "non beveled " side
@draggindeeroutdoors5 ай бұрын
I see what you’re talking in the video. I’ll have to go back out and look at them. I’m guessing it’s from taking the burr off during the initial sharpening.

@@draggindeeroutdoors agreed. A true single bevel is really tough to achieve especially with angled blades

Planning a video to discuss a similar topic, but in a nutshell I still think from an easy-of-use standpoint the 150 grain Magnus stinger 2 blade is the best option for xbows
