This makes so much sense. I use a compound bow, and it seems like people are tryimg to shoot lighter, smaller diameter arrows. I could see this being true for crossbows too

I just started shooting crossbow last year with very little knowledge. I picked up the Excalibur Micro Mag 340. 250grn Quill bolt with 125grn Swhacker. At 30yrds, my bolt is through and through. I am 3/3 for bucks with it. This is an awesome lightweight bow. I even cock it in my stand.

excellent video got a vital instinct 430 on order glad to get a baseline on speed too weight I have the same Chrono but I appears u have taken care of that for us thank u. what weight do u find it to shoot the most accurately I was thinking about 450 grains for mine .

It’s fun to see how different setups perform. I posted a video of my last hunt. The deer was quartering away hard & I got a full past through with a 350 grain setup. It was a 350 spine rip tko with a 100 grain montec on it. After going through the deer it went 1/2 way into the ground. Check it out if you want.

What do you need to do if you have to Recite after every couple shots

I just received my blind today. I thought I'd set it up inside the living room and pack it up before I took it out into thte field. I highly recommend setting this blind up and packing it up at least two times before taking it to the field and trying it out. Set up is swift but take down is a bear. I'm 5'4 and 165 lbs. So I'm figuring someone taller and more strength might not have as much problem. It took me 45 minutes to finally get it all back into the bag. But, I love the blind. Can't wait to use it in the field but only when I have someone with me to assist. Great blind though. You could say you get a big bang for the buck. this video is the only one I found that addresses more properly the way to tear it down. Just make sure it's all folded in before trying to bring all the legs together...I'm learning.

It’s not looking good here this year, so I’m already looking into some bills for next year I had sent you a text, but I don’t know if you got it. I built upsome sandlida warpath 10. I’ll send you an email with a picture of that shaft and one of the heads I’m going to be trying next year. And believe it or not it’s a three blade! I will also be shooting Sirius out of at least one of my x bows next year.

What´s the minimum draw weight @25" draw length? I´m looking for a compound bow with aluminium/magnesium riser adjustable from 15lbs (and more) @25" draw length.

I can tell you exactly which one's better the swat X1 it has the best trigger that I have ever shot on a crossbow i have two raven r10 crossbows i've also got the sub one xr made by mission crossbow the swat X1 absolutely has the best trigger and that makes you shoot better

Ditch the limbs legalize air bows

I want to use Q2i fusion ll 2.5" on my crossbow arrows, but don't know what degree to fletching them at. Any suggestions? I use Q2i Fusion on my compound bow and I am very pleased with them.

Hey Matt i have the swat one i love the crossbow but after about 30 shots i noticed the trigger is acting weird almost like a hesitation I’m gonna have to reach out to company but I wonder if you have heard or experienced a problem with trigger? I’m a bit disappointed with that but it is what it is at least i have a backup but i just love how compact the swat is .

I have 2 KI crossbows, about 8 years ago I bought the 350, and 2 months ago I bought the Vital X. And 1 week ago I shot a very nice 8 point with it, 15 yards quartering away, the 2 inch Swhacker enter the opposite shoulder so hard the butcher couldn’t get it out. Yeah I’m very happy with the Vital X.

Quick question, After sighting in my Swat X1 at 20yds with the factory scope, I had to turn the speed ring all the way down to 275fps with a 416gr bolt to get it dead on at 40yds. Is this normal or is there a problem with the scope? Thanks for sharing
