The fact that you didn't put a bunch of commentary over this really helped me stay immersed in the game. I felt a lot less distracted than I do with commentary vids on most channels. Cool stuff.

Seriously. I get he's a beast and is fine playing a minute down or whatever but it's just a respect thing, man. If you're playing a tournament, be there when it starts, ready. Kind of lame honestly .

What fun in wearing Jents Pant 👊 👊.
@ChessPlay645 күн бұрын
The jeans issue happened because Magnus was fined for wearing jeans in the Rapid Championship. Because of that, he decided not to play the Blitz Championship. Then, the organizers reconsidered and allowed jeans in the Blitz Championship.

I understand your point. But sometimes it happens that you arrive late. When I arrive late to a game, I try not to play immediately; it's good to take a pause and breathe a bit to try to focus...

@@ChessPlay64nah…It’s Magnus. He always does it on purpose. You’re not exactly one minute late all the time by accident. It’s all part of the show from him and his PR team. If you were actually late by accident you’d miss the whole game. It is what it is.

Why did he lose?
@davidhughes47856 күн бұрын
White lost on time. He started with 3:00 minutes and Magnus being late, started with 1:30 minutes. It’s not easy playing the world champion, there are levels to this game, and a case of nerves can hit the most seasoned players, when playing against the best. And embarrassing to start with extra time and then lose on time.

Indeed, in the FIDE Laws, there is a zero-tolerance rule for delays. However, the tournament organization, as long as it is explicitly stated in the regulations, can modify it and set a longer tolerance time.
