This really is why time controls are important in chess now. Computers have made classical chess long, boring, and usually ending in draws. In tighter time controls we know the execution isn't going to be perfect, and its impossible to memorize as many computer lines, so it makes it inherently more human. Also makes it more watchable. Much more excitement.

@6:28: I think the correct move is to sac the queen via Qc5 (if black takes white gets 2 connected passers). Magnus tried to avoid that but had to sac his queen anyway (worse version).

I studied the position at 6:15 and both Danya and Carauna checks on b2 cuz I guess checkin on end game is always alluring but evaluation bar shows a huge spike for black because Qa1 is crushes white on most variations

Cause GM lvl players dont get stressed out cause they can make even a pawn more deadly than queen unlike the normal player who loses such a big advantage cause he wont know how to make basic pieces perform good and only relies on op pieces like queen

✍️Magnus Carlsen ;- -Self-confidence is very important. If you don’t think you can win, you will take cowardly decisions in the crucial moments, out of sheer respect for your opponent. You see the opportunity but also greater limitations than you should. I have always believed in what I do on the chessboard, even when I had no objective reason to. It is better to overestimate your prospects than underestimate them. Subscribe us to watch magnus Carlsen videos thanks for the valuable time😊
