Rt. Incredible precision with so little time. The Queen is always dangerous in those endgames with few pawns and pieces, being able to give checks from everywhere. Awesome game that one, for sure!

Although Magnus ended up winning that fourth game, at 18:06 the evaluation says he is completely winning. I set up that possition in the analysys board and my oh my, I would've never found that continuation 🤣🤣 I wonder if GMs, in classical time control, would find it after a long(ish) think.

I think they'd find Rxf2 almost immediately in a classical time control. In fact I think both players would check Rxf2 every move. It's forcing and it exposes the white king, so it needs to be calculated. In a blitz game, I'm sure it's on their radar but maybe not worth the time to calculate because it's a very complicated position.

@@faznaz7455 I think it was Qh4+, then you basically chase the king around and checkmate him. The king can't hide behind the pawns because your 2 bishops are targeting them.

@@rhysgriffiths9675 I considered this but i had dismissed it because after Qh4+ Kg1 Qg3 i thought white had Rxe5 and there’s no attack to be seen here BUT my mind completely missed the mate in 1 threat Qxg2 which means white actually has to respond to the mate in 1 threat therefore Qh2+ is unstoppable and i can see the king being in trouble there being chased around.

Maybe not. Both Magnus and Kasparov are just so next level, both so so amazing. They're like the MJ and Lebron of basketball. Basically so good that there may never be people that good or as talented again. There will definitely be players playing better moves in the future because of AI and the evolution of chess, but that means nothing to me. They will never be able to do what Magnus and Gary have been able to in their careers, not even close in my opinion.
