I'm a die-hard Evanescence fan, to the point where I have their logo tattooed over the entire back of my right hand. I'm always SO nitpicky about covers because I unfortunately have the tendency to think "nothing will be better than the original." That said, you NAILED THIS! You certainly made it your own but kept the essence of Ev and I couldn't praise this version more

The original version of Even In Death is somber and talks about losing someone you love to death. This version sounds as if it's sung from the point of view of someone trying to bring a loved one back to life with black magic. Edit: I'm not saying that I dislike this version. I do, just not as much as I like the original.
