No human has a rating as high as 3200, and if anyone ever achieves that high a rating they would be regarded as a super-grandmaster. Stockfish is, of course, even higher at about 3600 rating, and would be considered as being at ultra-grandmaster level.

Arrows are good for beginners, but if you really want to get better at chess you should try to memorize the squares ranks and files so that you can eventually grow some balls.

watching Magnus flip the switch at the end from playing strategically for the endgame advantage to mating within a few moves -- absolute killer instinct. I'm by no means a good chess player, but even still my brain struggles to hold the ability to calculate multiple win conditions like that at the same time. we are so lucky to live at a time where all time greats can play and provide commentary in real time for the whole world to see.

Magnus is a real genius - the ease with which he explains move and is in control of his own game simultaneously is quite something to see. He certainly make this win seem and sound very easy - have played this kind of game 100s of times...his opponent also played quite well - but Magnus thinks like a GM all the time !!!...

The fact that he can just recall all these lines for multiple different variations for every opening is just mind boggling to me. I consider myself a decent player, 1600 ELO, but this man’s brain just functions differently than most people on the planet.
