well, here's a tip. After he releases his fists and you have to deal with the three of them, use Power Lift to raise your attacks and defense (try to get to 3 defense points). Then, get your partner to take out the arms in one turn. When Magnus shoots at you, he'll do no damage with your defense at 3.

Magnus von grapple v2 is the hardest and last battle against crump. he hits really hard in that battle. 2 defence and high attack. his fists do 9 damage or more. each. OW!!!

Something I noticed about the 1st Magnus battle... If you really REALLY closely during the part where he's taunting you, you'll see Crump is moving a switch to make Magnus "bounce" in place.

I don't know why people say Magnus 2 is hard. I beat him a few hours ago, I barely even used any FP. Then again, I beat the Pit of 100 Trials yesterday too, so that probably had something to do with it.

I thought the powerful attack was pretty easy because each member did 1 dmg. Just click "A" rapidly to defend yourself and with some sort of timing to dodge the whole thing.

Magnus 2.0 was a bitch. He had that one fricken attack that depleted at LEAST half of any characters HP by machine gunning them with random debree. seriously, wtf

2.0 was just hard if you got hit by all the hits of that one powerful attack. Other then that, he's pretty easy. Of course defending against the attack is also fairly easy with some practice.
