This is a great review but one thing you didn't mention that I have concerns about is leveling. How much effort is needed to get the tripod level for panning? Thanks!

Magnus makes great rigs. The fluid head is a must. Great sample footage. After 4 years I decided to go up to a 74" max height. I found that on uneven ground, the lower height was just not enough for tall shots and I was forced to be creative to get that height. Not a bad thing in my experience but I wanted that height so I finally splurged :)

Yeah I DO wish it was a little taller!

I just got a Magnus vt-4000 from B&H today. The pan and tilt is so creamy and soft. Looking forward to go out with this thing :-)

I've had this for years, and I love it. My only issue is that I wish it were Arca Swiss mount.

can this tripod shoot vertically?

Do the legs spread out at the bottom so you can get the camera really low to the ground?

Great review. Thanks. Planning on purchasing 2 of them. Only 1 humble suggestion, if I may be so presumptuous -- the music: while really nice choice of music for the video, it was a bit too loud and distracting during the times you were talking. I really wanted to listen to you and found the music a little distracting from your message. :). Other than that, excellent presentation.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad it was helpful nonetheless! Also, I am still using my tripod and still love it!

If you are going to do a review of lenses, then you show images taken with the lens, if you do a review of cameras, you show images taken with the camera and if you are going to do a tripod, you show what the tripod can do and the load it supports, nobody enter KZbin to only listen to words, it is a video platform and you cannot show what your tripod is capable of? what's up man?
