You left out the bit base. They’re awesome too. I’ve been using nothing but mag rails for a while now and I’ll never use anything else. They really are amazing

I just purchased the 2 long mag rails for my 1/2 sockets. Yes they are strong, however im sort of disappointed, as i sort of thought they would be stronger magnets. However they will do the job. I have used the mechanics time saver racks for years, but they are not long enough for my 1/2. Keep up the good work, again thanks!

Great mag rails. I have one . Just one cause they're ridiculously expensive when adding the lift peg and sockets pegs

Nice presentation! I wish could have seen a complete set of 1/2 deep inpact sockets up to 1 5/16, maybe, to suggest if needed 2 rails or? What im getting at is I have a set of impacts, do i need 2 rails or? I like to be sold, what I need, or suggest what i need. Great presentation, very articulate! Thanks!

By far the best socket rails I've seen and will be replacing all my widgets to this system. For the can holder, do you know the weight it'll hold? I'd be interested in using it to hold my grease gun. Thanks for the video!

Hello again, Clay Thank you for another Great video 👍 Question for you, my needs are socket organization. I need to not only organize but be able inventory what I have on hand. Does Vim have anything like that available. Again thank you

Man I bought some Hansen socket rails and they’re good but man they take up some space in my top compartment of my cart. I’m looking at investing in mag rails

I’ve never seen the pry bar holder from VIM. Can we see that up close, and holding some pry bars? The picture on the website doesn’t seem to do it justice. Thanks.

Hey Do they De-Burr the Trays now? I almost lost a finger before finding out that I need to spend some time with a file to take the edge off where the sheet metal was sheered a broke over. Even then with the weight of the sockets and the single side handle makes them real close to useless in my world. Its gonna scratch anything you try and set it down on if you do manage to get your hand out from underneath the blasted thing. And lets not get it twisted here, I still love me some Mag-Rails and my MRBITBASE but the tray needs some attention . I found a better way to carry / mount a few sets for when I'm in the feild or ontop of a machine so I guess it all worked out anyway. I need to show someone the simple stand that I slapped together. Anyone could/can once they see a picture its clear as a bell. Happy to share if anyone is interested just let me know in a comment below

I always put some green painters tape on the bottom of mine so it won’t scratch up stuff and when that tape gets nasty I just tear it off and put more.

Mag rails, the most expensive way to organize your sockets... $30 for an 8" rail with no studs and no lifting peg.
@erik34
@erik34 Ай бұрын
Wow, is that what they cost? I really like these after watching this video, but I don't know if I can afford to outfit my sockets at that rate.
@victorhoyt4352
@victorhoyt4352 Ай бұрын
@erik34 you can find them a little cheaper, but not by much. You can get them in what's called a "Jobber Pack", where you get 6 8" rails, studs, and lifting pegs for $165. They are definitely ridiculously overpriced. They are really nice for sure, but I just can't justify the price. If I had only a few sets of sockets, it wouldn't be that bad. To organize all of my different sockets though, it would easily cost $1,000, maybe more.
@bobit8742
@bobit8742 8 ай бұрын
these things are stupid strong, you need to really pull on the socket for it to come off the rail.
