I picked up the wallet as a “must have” accessory since I bought the Mini and it sits flush around the edges of the phone. I love the compact size of the mini, but holding it with the wallet gives it a bit of extra “stuff” in your hand and makes it more enjoyable IMO.

I have the Cyprus green case for my iPhone 12 Pro. I love the feel of the case. However, after only several weeks with it, two of the corners have had the silicone peel off the underlying plastic frame. I was surprised by this. I’m sending it back and will get the leather.

I returned the clear case. It was too slippery, difficult to push the buttons, and very difficult to remove from the phone. I'm pleased with the silicone case thus far. This doesn't have the lint problem of past silicone cases. I was concerned about the cards slipping out and losing them though.

Hi Jon, thanks for the video. I have leather case on ProMax and wallet from launch day, the wallet is holding up well appearance wise and yes I have suffered the same issue at times with being hard to get cards out , I use 3 standard plastic bank cards. I enjoy using wallet I have not had my normal leather wallet in my pocket since I got this. I also take off when home, I stick it to fridge door. The leather wallet has couple scratches on it already, time will tell. I got the poppy colour which I think is bright and a bit different but likely will show up dirt and blemishes. I had the dark green last year and it held up very well. Good luck with your channel.

I have my Cobalt Blue Leather Wallet and Case for my Pacific Blue 12 Pro Max. I absolutely love my wallet it’s very convenience. I also slid a magnetic card stuck to a thin card in the front for a magnetic card accessory works very well.

I did but I just always choose black. I orignally wanted the pacific blue (to be different) but decided to switch to graphite. I wanted to choose something different still and getting the brown wallet was good enough for me to scratch that itch. I do think black will be nice and will look more “sleek”.

I’ve been using a Baltic blue leather case on my pacific blue iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’m generally a black leather and black phone guy, but this time, I decided to go with the blue one. I love how the leather feels and picks up scratches and dings, but I love having a secondary case too. Thought about picking up a silicone case as well, but the aging of the silicone case kinda sucks. The glossy corners really put me off. Will be picking up a wallet soon though. Great video!

Ive been through multiple apple silicone cases, I’m pretty careless with my phones but i’ve always had to replace the case for pieces of the case breaking off, always on the bottom corners, love the case but the durability is just not there

It’s not meant to be on the phone permanently, you take it off when not using it, it’s just a way of keeping close to your phone when you initially take it out of your pocket.

I think you can use it either way. I keep it on when I’m outside, then I take it off when I get home.

YES, the camera cutout is raised enough that the lens would sit a bit higher on a flat surface.

I did what I always do, I get 1 silicone case in blue and one in leather black. The black Wallet looks great on both I feel. The leather case doesn’t feel as good as previous gen cases imo but we will see how it holds up.

Hey Jon, great review! I think I'll get this case because it's super minimal and you also have the option to take it out of the case. Is there any noticeable ring formed on the outside silicone case where the wallet comes in contact ? Have heard a lot of complaints where the ring of the magnets are visible on the outside . But not sure is it caused by the MagSafe charger or the wallet . Do let me know if your case has any ring formation .

Sick color combo! Does the silicone case slip off your phone at the corners or sides? I have another case for my pro max and when I hold the phone with the screen face down you can feel the phone slipping out the case.

Just being OC (obsessive compulsive) since the last phone i have i never dropped it. Thats why im being paranoid in that drop that the phones internal would be shaken up or loosen up. good to know about the silicone issue :) The first thing I noticed bro ur background is very poor..light is only focusing on ur face and less on ur body and product. very dim. there seems to be a light reflection on ur face. u need pure white not yellow light. the bright and well-lit background is very important. ur background is dark and not uplifting. ur audio is good average, could be better. three important factors for a good review video are well-lit white lighting, bright and minimal plain wall lit background. (minimal furniture behind) make it simple. and good 4k camera and audio.. good audio and camera with a bad background and lighting can screw up the whole thing.. everything has to gel well. FYI I am using a 27'' full HD monitor.

Thanks for the feedback! However, this is a real life office and not a “studio” so I think I’m gonna keep my setup. I don’t mean for it to be uplifting, I want it to be productive. Lighting is white. But I agree that lighting should be better next time and also audio!

You are probably putting your cards in with the embossed numbers facing one another during the times it’s hard to slide out out the flat sides against one another you probably won’t have that issue

Hi, thanks for the review. I tried the silicone case and the leather case from Apple. I found that both of them in the pocket would result in the top corners popping up, on the leather case it was so bad that the silent switch would be moved to silent mode on. I had to return them. I then tried the clear case. The top corners are fine but the bottom one pops up. Not ideal for an original Apple product. Also, the silicone case didn’t seem it would last long, previously I have always used the leather cases, they last for years. I do like your colour combination though. It’s refreshing that someone is actually reviewing the day to day use of the products rather than just unboxing and giving a personal opinion based on the looks. 👏🏽

Hi, great video! I got my Apple MagSafe Wallet yesterday and noticed something I don’t like about the wallet: When you put three cards in it there will be a small gap between the iPhone and the Wallet at the lower part of it (where only one magnet is). I replaced it because I thought it wouldn’t be normal but my replacement wallet shows the same issue. Does anyone else noticed that too?

I wash my phone and case daily ! A mix of bleach and water 1 part bleach for 8 parts water (around that ) is enough to disinfect any bacteria 🦠 on that sucker !

@@JayLang7 I own the apple magsafe wallet and can say the magnets are strong. I have a apple leather case and I would say the magnets are almost to strong. I like to put on the wallet on my iphone without the leather case. Because its easier to slide of the glass back, and thats the way I want it to be when I want to slide it off inside my pocket to pick up the wallet. The only gripe I have is that somehow the wallet sticks to the leather case and sometime is almost a bit hard to slide off.

The reviews saying the magnets are weak...Yeah I don’t trust them anymore. After buying them wallet I have never had a problem where it just falls off. I think it just became a trend to show MagSafe as weak. I have no issues with my car mount neither!
