Hey man, I‘m a young man from Germany and I would absolutely love to get some recommendations from you on which scents I should get from Perfume Parlour, as I am quite stuck with the fragrance collecting hobby. At the moment I am looking for a few fragrances for this summer, but I would appreciate all kinds of knowledge and tips on PP. So please share with me, what you can recommend, whether it is your taste or just extremely good quality or something you would see a young adult wearing. I dont have any experience with PerfumeParlour so thanks in advance!😅 Also hope my writing does not sound too non-fluent😂 Greetings from Germany!

Hi mate. Great content as usual. These fragrances definitely get better with age. I got the new babycat copy a few weeks ago. First spray i was like Meh 😒. Sat in the fridge for 3 weeks and now it’s amazing. Would recommend try this method to improve the frags 👍🏾

great video, as much as i do enjoy my purchases from PP their delivery service is disappointing they say they deliver between 2 to 4 working days but i always seem to wait minimum of 7 days sometimes 10 and im only down the road in london

Fantastic video as always Paul. Is there much difference between the perfume parlour EDP and Extract versions? Which ones are the closest to the originals in your opinion? For people who love to explore multiple frags the EDP 13ml is a pretty good deal as you can grab 6 of them for 35 quid (with your discount), whereas the cheapest extracts are like 20 quid each.

0392 is my summer love after spending entirely too much on samples trying to find it. I found Sauvage Elixir which is my winter love early in my journey and it gave me false hope that I could easily find a summer fragrance I loved as much. I really wish PP would switch to different sample bottles, they are very leaky and I almost couldn't identify 3 of 11 samples because the leaking erased the ink on 3 bottles. Right now I am trying to figure out what samples to add on top of a 3 extract bundle to get me up to $130.

From what ive purchased so far saintly s and card wonder have been my favourites . I was a little disappointed with my recent haul though as the extract sprays come without a box and a cheaper looking bottle now which isnt that important to me but would put me off ordering as a present 4 someone . Like i say this isnt important 2 me but worried me that the scent wouldn't be as good either . Sadly the 3 i purchased this time have gone unnoticed when wearing so its caused me concern but will give them another hopeful purchase. With sensible 2 in mind did u say the edp is better than the exract or is extract always better . Anyway thanks 4 all the effort u put in Paul it is extremely helpful and much appreciated 👍

Thanks Graham. With regards the bottles/box, they ran out of the extract bottles last month and they were waiting on the supplier. They are meant to be delivered mid to late Feb according to the guys at PP. I find that the Extracts are better especially in the opening.

I completely agree, navy intense is as close as it gets to the OG. One of the best Perfume Parlour scents that I know.

Brilliant idea for the traffic light system and hope to see it going forward. It's sometimes difficult to deduce from a review whether a fragrance may be a little challenging to wear for the uninitiated. For example, I've discovered that my nose doesn't like Bentley intense edp and Issey miyake noir ambre. Now I just need to figure out which from the amber, leather or smoky accords that offend me. Maybe it's all 3 but I hope it's just that smoky accord because leather and amber seem to be very popular in the fragrance world. In everyday life, I'm not at all offended by different leathers so I could possibly eliminate that but I couldn't actually say that I know what amber smells like in real life.

Great Video and great list. Been loving Perfume Parlour for years now, just difficult to get them to NZ but I think they do deliver here now. I think there is a mistake in the list though 1244 is supposed to be Erba Pura from Sospiro....not from Xerjoff. At least on their website, Xerjoff's Erba Pura is 0856

Have bought a few frags from PP and have had a good experience,the only grip I've got is that mexican rawhide 1932 which is a clone of AQUA D PARMA LEATHER has been out of stock for about 10/11 months, I have the original but it doesn't perform like the PP clone does, I have contacted pp to ask if it's been discontinued but they say it hasn't so I will have to try another clone from PP that might be close to mexican rawhide 1932..b

Would you say Avalanche Absolute is 1:1? And would you prefer the EDP or Extrait version? Thanks

No clone or copy fragrance is 1:1 but its definitely close enough to fool people into believing it's the real deal. The only way you can tell a subtle difference is when you test them directly side by side which nobody would ever do unless they were reviewing it. Always go Extract Spray if you can.

I first ordered the Avalanche Absolu and I was super impressed! It was extremely similar the the real sample I had of Absolu Aventus, sometimes I could barely notice a difference. As my other favourite creed is virgin island water, I decided to also order blue waters. This one I'm a little disappointed on, I get the similarity to creed in the immediate opening but after that it smells completely off, not much coconut and some harsh citruses. Does anyone know another virgin island water clone they could recommend please?

It’s definitely a Parfum clone. If you go to the perfume parlour website and check out the notes, they are exactly the same as the notes listed on fragrantica for bdc parfum. 👍

The one I really want to buy first is Navy Intense (BDC Parfum) because the original is so damn expensive and I love the scent; Then I'm going with Old Norse. Thanks Paul great work. How much more longevity & projection do you notice between extract and they're EDP's?? (I'm guessing it varies by different perfumes but want ti get a sense. Maybe if you categorise your answer based on type of fragrance like Aquatic/fresh sense is x hours for projection and x hours by longevity etc.)

For me it’s not really about the projection/longevity and more about the scent quality. Imagine a dilute fruit juice drink. The more juice you put into the water the richer the flavour. It doesn’t satisfy my thirst anymore but it just tastes better. It’s the exact same principle with the EDP vs Extract spray. You may get a touch more longevity but don’t but the extract if all your worried about is the performance.
