Robby introduces MAGVIEW, a new option for Digiscoping for any binocular or spotting scope. Lightweight, universal, and always on, take a look at MAGVIEW for the next generation of Digiscoping adapters. clarification: the magnet is in the optic ring, the plate that goes on the phone is non-magnetic so doesn't interfere with phone's compass

Looks like a great idea, but a bit too expensive.

Looks like the product is available soon. A question I hope the Rokslide reviewers answer is will the magnetic phone attachment impact gps performance?

good question and that just popped up on our forum thread. I checked the onX app and a Compass app I use frequently and both tracked North perfectly. Tony and Kyle will keep an eye on this as they do further testing, thanks **clarification: the magnet is on optic ring, not on the phone so there is no effect on the compass.--robby denning

The B1 is tough to use if you wear glasses and the frames of your glasses stick to the magnet. Essentially you have one eyecup extended and one not with on.

thank you for the feedback Tim. Didn't think about the eyeglass frame sticking to the magnet.

Seems like a great product. Has the flap of the S1 ever got in the way while looking through the scope with just your eye?

No, you hardly notice it's there. and it's the only system i've tried where you can have a functional dust cap on your scope and still be ready to digiscope quickly

Looks like the Bino adapter has a small area of contact. How wrong is the magnet and will the wind dislodge the magnet? Obviously I’m not talking about hurricane winds but normal 5-10 mph type winds. Just curious as I’ve had phone magnets in my truck that won’t hold my phone in place and hoping it won’t be the same with the bino eye piece.

hey Terry, the magnet wouldn't be dislodged by wind. It's strong and takes a little wrestling to pop it loose. Not like some of the magnets you mention. Hasn't been an issue at all so far.

For your S1 what number rings did you use, and do you have issues when zooming in, like the picture going black? Im trying it on a Vortex 20-60x85 , it’s fine up until you want to zoom in with the scope. Not bashing on it , it’s just not lining up…

Hey I wanted to get you answered but I don’t have the spotter with me right now. I can tell you the rings that I did NOT use were the 53 to 54. Or the 57 to 58. Or the 59 to 60. So using the process of elimination, whatever is missing is the one that’s on my scope. Looks like the 55-56. Wish I could do you better than that partner but I believe that’s the correct one. I am not having any problems when I zoom with my iPhone 11. My next question would be are you using the app? If you have a different phone than me, you may have to use the app which is going to lock in the camera when you zoom so it’s not trying to switch to a different lens-robby denning

@@abasin08 good to hear. I can tell you this, if you’ll give yourself some time to get it set up correctly and practice with it, you’re gonna love it!

Doesn’t seem to be causing a problem. Tony and Kyle are aware of peoples concerns and will be watching this closely over the next month as they use theirs and will report back in their final review.
