do the antler laths on the siyahs support the siyahs alignment? ive never really understood the antler laths but would love to do them once i make a horn bow one day!

The siyahs are pretty thin at the tip they need to be strenghtened by using either antler or horn.

@@BajanBow thank you for the response. does the thinning of the siyah tip wood and reinforcing it's thinness with antler result in lighter siyahs? i would think the antler you replace the siyah wood with would cause for heavier siyahs yet more durable.

@@Soviless99 Wood would be lighter but antler or horn makes the siyah stronger and yes more durable.
