Just imagine this? Pls someone tells him that by the time he finished his speech, these things happened in Ghana 1) someone died at korle bu because doctors are on strike,2)someone is using frying pan to iron her church uniform because there's no light, 3) someone is going to bed hungry because the the little money he has cannot buy any food in Ghana 4) People are lining up on the street to demonstrate his ineffectiveness for the whole world to see. He's funny and most funny people are not taking seriously on the international stage. Ruling a country is not a joke. Its a serious business. If u are not ready, pls pave the way for someone else. Ghana is actually retrograding if he doesn't know. Was he not in the country when kuffour was in power? He dashed people's hope of repatriating back to develop the country. Politicians can talk ooo.. WHAT EVERY THINKING HUMAN BEING KNOWS IS THAT, No Politician will ever say that they are under performing, even when they clearly are. 1. U have indicated clearly that our economic structure depends on natural resources and agricultural produce for revenue. WHAT ARE U DOING TO CHANGE THAT. Most advance economies do not depend on these, but they are developed. When kojo sarfo and co have clearly shown talent for technological know-how, what have successive governments done to help create other sources of revenue??????. Ofcourse every gov't adds something when they assume office, but that is not what matters. What matters in HOW MUCH they add. If you hold office for 20 years, like Rawlings, and contribute so little, IT IS A SHAME. Nkurmah held office for just 9yrs, and he achieved More than what Rawlings did in 20 years. SO people like Rawlings are LIABILITIES to the country and you are becoming one of them. 2. How can u depend on a country like nigeria, which is suffering from unstable power supply, for your own power supply???. this does NOT make sense at all. Why must we depend on West Africa gas pipelines for our power supply?. Its a shame!!!. You now accept that ghana's oil is contributing to our revenue. When it was first discovered, you guys claimed that is was "Adwo ngo" palm kernel oil. Instead of focusing on using the revenue on a specific agenda e.g. Building our railway system to higher standards, you have add shared it to various aspect of the economy, so that auditing will become difficult. 3. What annoys me the most, is to create the impression that Ghana has improved because, we no longer make placed-calls in phone booths, we no longer watch television in others rooms, etc, this is NONSENSE!.... THAT IS NOT THE MAKING OF ANY GOVERNMENT. Technology has increased and improved over time, and cost of these gadgets have become relatively cheap and accessible, so stop making it look as if previous governments did that. 4. Africa's is not progressing at an acceptable pace because of POOR LEADERSHIP- and you are one of them. If you cannot solve a Dumsor problem in 6 yrs, what makes you think you can solve and entire national problem???.. Point of correction... the Dumsor is not as recent as you claim. MR DUMSOR!... ANY LEADER WHO ENJOYS LIGHT, WHEN THEIR PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING IN DARKNESS ARE OBVIOUSLY POOR LEADERS. Non of our MPs (both NDC and NPP) are suffering from dumsor. what kind of leaders are these???? 5. My friend, you dont need OPTIMISTIC CITIZENS to build a country. You need good leaders, who stopping filling their stomach when the citizens are hungry.

You make a lot of statements...but do not suggest a single way out. Its okay to have opinions about how a leader is leading but what the nation needs now is concerted effort at development where everyone contributes their quota. More so it appear you do not have enough information on a lot of things regarding energy. I personally have issues with the postulations of the president but your arguments are lame. Simply Google and check out energy planning and the need for incremental additions to meet demand. As a nation we havent planned well on energy and its affecting all of us. Nkrumah did his best..yes...but no one else has done anything better. Its now its biting most. The party politics with energy has to stop. We need constructive arguments devoid of sentimentality to develop. A better solution will be to move completely away from fossil fuels. That will take some research and we aren't doing that yet. Its up to all of us to help get it done. The development of Ghana depends on all of us! not some! Lets hear your ideas at how we can move ahead...it might be the best. Show it.
