Maha MruthyunjayaManthra is a powerful manthra taken from Rigveda (mandala 7 hymn 59 and line 12).It is attributed to sage Vasishta.As per puranas this manthra given by rishi Markandeya to Sathi to save Chandra suffered from the curse of Dakshaprajapathi. this manthra is also known as Rudramanthra ,Mruthasanjeevani manthra and Thrayambaka manthra.Maha means the great Mruthyunjaya means conquerring death.When we come out of the fear of death we will conquer itThrayambaka is the lord who is having three eyes.that is lord Shiva.
Oh lord Mahadeva who is the fragrant and nourishing to all...may liberate us from ignorance ,untruth and fear of death like ripe cucumber falls effortlessly off from the matured creepers.
