Bless Tenzin Palmo. Jeeez - my Metta practice really gets tested when I read or hear about the many mysoginistic acts on the part of males who consider themselves Buddhists. It’s outrageous. May these nuns go forward in fearlessness, joy and peace. 🙏🏼

With deepest respect, Jetsunma, you hit the nail on the head when you stated that it was dangerous for women to sleep out in the open 'because of the men'. Perhaps then, men should reflect more deeply on why they are dangerous or why they think they have the right to force themselves on women. If men behaved themselves and took their precepts more seriously, then there would be no need for women to be afraid...just sayin'...Thank you for your insight and teaching, as ever, and thank you for your courage to speak out to HHDL for the right of women to study the Dharma.
