1. Biryani is definitely the best. 2. You can't quench the thirst for pani-puri with anything else. (And it's almost impossible to get real pani-puri taste outside India. Biryani comes from the Persian word birinj which means burnt rice and this Persian word in turns comes originally from the Sanskrit word "birih" which means rice.
