Is that Bevan sitting in a white suit to Maharishi's right? Probably. What I don't get is how it got from a simple technique and normal clothing in the 60's and 70's from Humbolt to Seelisburg: to brass crowns, robes and all the "mood-making" accoutrements on Westerners? Ridiculous! I guess Maharishi gave up trying to keep it simple and let the "bliss ninnies" have their way. TM is such a simple technique: "What you do is you don't do much." MMY This doesn't look like "not doing much".

Those who wear crowns. Maharishi called them Rajas (kings). He wanted the world to know the importance of the technique. It far surpasses the importance of others who wear crowns now -- kings, bishops, the Pope, and so on. If anyone deserves to wear a crown, it is the guardians of the most important knowledge that allows us to experience the ultimate reality. The others should remove their crowns. This is another reason he began calling those he made teachers of the TM technique "Governors", those who govern the laws of Nature from a deep level of consciousness and give out the technique of how to experience the infinite.
