Did you just change the Hydraulic filter or change Hydraulic oil too and do you fill it up to the top of glass ??
@Workbull2022 жыл бұрын
I like the fact that Mahindra put a guard around the oil filter. It also appears that there is a skid plate or guard to protect the hydraulic filter and suction line. I need to build something similar on my new to me 6530 before I charge into the woods with it. I have seen other people tearing off hydraulic filters with branches. I would appreciate as I am sure others would a short video or some pictures that detailed the factory protection that is on your tractor.

You got it, I will get some good video of the factory protection and post to the channel.

I’m about to come up on my 250 hour oil and hydraulic fuel change. Due to the fact that I added a third function hydraulic hook up on my lift to use a grapple, I had the service department where I bought the tractor do the 50 hour service while they installed the third function hook up. This will be my first attempt at both oil and hydraulic fluid changes. My question is this, in your video I did not see much if any hydraulic fluid being drained out when changing the hydraulic fluid filter, do you only replace the amount of hydraulic fluid loss during the filter change? Thanks for the video and looking forward to your answer.

I had a strap wrench with a breaker bar on that oil filter wrench and it was not moving at all. There is not a lot of room in there. I finally broke it loose with a cheater pipe on the breaker bar. It was crazy.

Wow!! I have heard that same story from many people. I was pretty fortunate with mine, but that big filter seal did really hang on!

Did one today. Was so tight i was barely able to get either filters off. Whoever does this needs to be fired

I did a first 50hr service on a 6075 today. The filters were both so ridiculously tight it was quite shocking. Ive never in all my years had to use that kinda force. Proper strap wrench and all. Otherwise it went smoothly.

How do you reset the Service Alarm? I am at 50Hrs on my 6065 and plan to service myself but I can't find where to reset the alarm. Thanks

Hello Matt, I have the procedure to reset the alarm, I should make a quick video because it is a bit confusing. I will try to attach the steps in the description part of this video with a how to video coming soon.
