🤣 🤣 🤣 Not to criticize the motor octane. But I really was waiting for genuine or xuv exclusive auto shift modes. But it's ended up being as ordinary as any other video from any youtubers. Most of the things he mentioned are not the modes but are just the AMT characteristics and behavior. The only point I found different from other AMT implementation is the way we shift the gears. It's unique. But rest all are not exclusive to Xuv300.

XUV 300 is the best in this segment. I had the test drive for both cars Nexon and XUV 300 at the same day with 10 minutes gap. Nexon has blaind spot in the right A pillar, it has big cabin noice, and a lot of body roll. Even clutch is also harder than XUV 300. But in XUV 300 is far better in all the above. No cabin noice, very less almost no body roll, very easy light clutch. Very fun to drive. More safer then Nexon because of all wheal disc brake and 6 air bags. The 17" allay wheel give you more stable and confident drive. Besides XUV is heavier than Nexon. XUV300 is the best in this segment. Go for XUV 300. It has fun to drive strong punchy diesel engine. After a test drive with Nexon,Kia Seltos I purchased XUV 300W8D(O) last week.

Hey motoroctane, i drove many car under 15 lakhs,..... But xuv300 w8 i drove 3000km and i went manali with this car.... Literally this car is most underrated...it is 5star car safety point of view.. Highest torque in this segment... 20mileage....strong build quality.... Because an accident took place in delhi jaipur express way and the accident was huge and car slipped arround 50m. But the passanger inside was safe completely..... So basically i am fan of mahindra.... Bcz mahindra knows how to make car

@Rachit, I think you may have missed out on the Hill Descent Control. XUV300 AutoShift also helps when you are going down the hill - it holds the lower gear to give you that 'engine breaking' effect.

I have w6 amt dsl and love pattern of gears.i never look down to change gears. In city full economy is 14.4 on highway 17 .4 fully loaded. U didnt talk about break assist, electronic break force distribution, Abs, Hill hold assist. Four disk plate, gravity point , traction control on and off. Sharp corning, suspension performance which make glides on pot holes. Which I have experienced and it really works. In latest I took out my car from big muddy gadda. All muddy water came inside car but my car not stacked. Many other great experience words are less.. no engine voice no vibration in cabins just like petrole car. can't believe I this Indian car.

Only problem is mahindra is going on increasing the price of all their products... 6 months ago xuv300 w8o petrol amt cost was around 14 lakhs on road here Now it had became around 15 lakhs on road.. (14.88 to be precise) Diesel amt costs around 16 lakhs on road.. This will eat up sales of top models of this car as one will easily shift their choice to more modern and big c segment cars like creta, seltos, kushaq, or even we get honda city, hyundai verna for that price..... 😑 And the irony is that.. Mahindra actually chopped off c segment tivoli to a sub4 metre car to deliver the tax benifits to buyers when launched...but it all resulted in a disproportionate rear design with hatchback level boot space...... This is what i couldnot understand.. Sub4 metre segment was introduced for tax benifits in india... Along with that less than 1500 cc barrier🤢 What it actually does is that we indian (middle class) left with no option other than, to buy a car less than 4m and 1.5cc in a price range of 15 lakhs... Bullshit 😑😑 Current trend of turbos with 3 cylinders adds up the headache..🥴. 4cylinderNA engines with decent performance are gone now Along with ever hiking petrol/diesel prices combined with current suv trend consumers also left with lesser mileage options in the market.... People are charecterized as cheap when kept mileage as their priority... 😷🤢

@@kpbabu4684 hi don’t compare it with other AMT. because XUV has more torque so there is no jerk. NO JERK brother. I faced zero jerk in low as well as in high speed. I am very happy having jerkless AMT. but there is lag because of TURBO at lower RPM, but it’s manageable once you know how to handle it.

Most of these features are there in Nexon AMT as well.. Infact other than the Adaptive pedal response that you mentioned, Nexon AMT also packs - ESP, Hill Hold, Auto mode, Manual Mode, Kick down function, creep/ crawl function, crawl function auto off if door open, Drive & Reverse Lock out, etc.. Moreover Nexon also packs a 5 star build n offers all these safety features from base model too..
