I had short listed EcoSport 1.5 petrol and Xuv300 1.2 petrol. Finally have purchased XUV300 few days back. Factors that I found better in XUV300 compared to EcoSport that made me tilt towards XUV300 are ...... 1comfortable ride over bad roads in both slow and high speeds. 2bigger sunroof. 3airy cabin. 4comfortable rear seats. 5front parking sensors. 6BS6 ready engine. 7practical cabin with lots of storage space. 8. Ecosport topend have 50 profile tyre whereas XUV300 have 55 profile which is better for Indian road. 8Boot open upwards in Xuv300 which is easier to manage in tight spaces ...... compromises I had to make with my decision to buy Xuv300 are ........1boot space less in Xuv300 2communicative steering for more sporty handling.

Wow even i comapred these all things.. but went for ecosport ecoboost... reasons 1. Xuv300 has white interiors, which are turn down for me as they are dust catcher 2. Boot space, if iam soending 12 lacks on a car.. i need a bigger boot space.. even wagon r has bigher boorlt 3. Ground clearance... i totally agree with what you have mentioned about ecosport and am also worried about those low orofile tyres, but still opted for ecosport

I am fan of motor octane but he hasn't driven the Ford's 1.5L dragon series engine in this comparison. XUV300 is a good car. I am not against it. But in my opinion it has more lesser important features compared to others. No DEAD pedal, Tiny Boot space are some serious shortcomings for me when considering a car in this price bracket. Xuv's footwell area is cramped for tall people. Driving dynamics, tried and tested, better quality product, better handler, less mileage but more power, best infotainment, higher ground clearance, better headlights, Bigger BOOT, LONG Lasting, No initial turbo Lag: FORD Ecosport clearly wins here. Features, XUV name, electronics, better ride quality except the rear: XUV300 Mahindra have by default bouncy back except Marazzo. Mahindra's petrol engine is fairly new when compared to Ecoboost which is Internationally awarded #1 engine. I hope you do a better research next time buudy. @Vikku Mishra. Peace. Cheers buddy. Ecosport and Xuv300 have best engines. But Ecosport is cramped and Xuv300 is too damn overpriced and worst in practicality. It has oldest indoor design also. Nexon has best flexibility, space and boot. good power in sport mode. Also nexon has best mileage in eco mode. Best interior design and audio system. Fantastic pricing also. Top end manual petrol is just 10.7 and automatic is under 12L. Its got 5 star safety rating also. It is also most stylish. I think Nexon is the best for families easily. No two ways here.

I have bought Renault captur great car value for money, I have test drive creta Hyundai, xuv500, Maruti scross, duster, Tata hexa,Harrier,Nissan kicks & Hector before buying this. First creta Hyundai good car but not as comfortable as captur seats of captur are like recliner awesome, suspension of captur much much better, ride quality of roading creta doesn't stand a chance, last service cost of second service just 4000 as compared to creta or other cars 9700 my friend has creta. Second xuv 500 no match to captur in comfort,ride quality, mileage of capture 20 + xuv 15 only like a huge truck no comfort who drives shakes at 110km/hr speed Mahindra cannot match international standards. Third Maruti Scross old only 1.289cc engine underpowered congested car selling bosh system no car quality, hybrid technology car stops everytime u stop have to press clutch to start no comparison to captur selling just name lacks power old people car Tata hexa too big car clumsy like mini truck Very low mileage 14km/hr no match to captu r in comfort and ride quality. Duster good difference captur is much much more comfortable, ride quality, seats of capture like recliner, suspension of captur much much better u don't feel any jerk international standards in captur much much better than duster. Overall car for city ofraoding old and young people.

Ecosports is the best among all ..it is definitely better than nexon interior and better boot space than xuv300. What is the used if you cannot carry 4 suitcases in xuv300 worth not paying . Anyways tata needs to improve the premiumnes in interior as well engine sound reduction .finally if you see Ford ecosport is the best with award winning engine and less maintenance.
