I've XUV300 W6 diesel... Its a practical good vehicle. For me no jerk in 2nd gear. and once u touch 1500 rpm... turbo kicks in and u will enjoy the driving... for family of 4 boot space is enough for keeping our bags... but if we need to carry extra luggage or buy something on the way somewhere we go... then only boot space is a pbm for me..

You are exactly correct bro.. I felt the same during my drive. I like XUV300. It is a best fun to drive car. I bought XUV300 W8(O) Diesel this year January,after a test drive with few Sub 4 meter SUV cars. I fully satisfied with XUV300 then I bought the same. . During my travel from Nagercoil to Pillyar Patti I got 25.8km/l with the speed of 80-90 km/ h and 20.5km/ l with the speed of 120km/h with AC on in all the time. In town 16.5 to 17.5 km/l I am extremely happy with the milage and performance of XUV300. It has a torque of 300N/m the best in segment during the hill journey we will really feel the difference. Besides XUV300 is a Indian company car, the maintaining cost is very low when compair other brands. XUV300 is a 5 Star safety rating car. Second row space is best in the segment. 3 adults can travel long distance without any difficulties. No rare AC but we didn't feel any difficulties because of the powerful AC in this car. Over taking in the high way is Fentastic. In a highway even with the 5th gear also we can overtake a car. I can say a lots of positive about XUV300. I love to drive XUV300. If you want to a fun to drive car with good milage and safety go to XUV300.

XUV300 is the best in segment. I had a test drive if Nexon and XUV 300 in the same day in 10minuts gap. I found in Nexon a big cabin noice and hard clutch. XUV300 is very smooth. And I find blaind spot in Nexon A pillar. Body roll also more in Nexon. XUV300 has less boot space and less ground clearance ,because of this we are getting more rare space and less body roll. XUV 300 (D) has a powerful engine. It will give us a fun to drive experience. Over taking in highway by XUV 300 is really fun. After 2 months clear study I bought XUV300 W8(O) D manual. I am really very happy. Driving in city and even in high way is amazing. Corner stability is super. Very easy gare shift and. easy clutch. Because of the all 4 wheal disc breaks we get amazing braking. XUV300 has a lots of futures and super Safety too. If you want to drive an international standard SUV in 15.5L (top end diesel on road) go to XUV300 W8(O) without any hesitation. If your budget is low go for W6.

7:55 looks like this car owner self assumed this petrol model is less in terms of vibration considering the template difference between petrol & diesel engines. In XUV300 petrol model, they use the same low power three cylinder engine used in the hatchback KUV100. Mahindra slightly ramped the KUV100 3 cylinder engine to increase the power & used it in XUV300 which causes more vibration comparing to XUV300 Diesel engines which is much settled & best powered of all cars in this segment. NO BRAINER go for DIESEL MANUAL if you shortlist XUV300.

If you want a good refined Diesel engine, comfort drive, better mileage and good feature can go for this.This SUV is feel like a Hatchback. Very good road presence. After BS6, the very big disappointment is most of the cars are 3 cylinder design and more over costly. This will cause enough vibration in near future. Turbo would be a work around.

I have a XUV300 W6 Diesel variant which has a powerful and torqueier engine not only with Sub compact SUVs but also among midsize SUVs. First I considered Seltos and Creta but they also having the same wheelbase as in the case of XUV 300.Seltos has a poor safety rating.But Austrlian spec model has a good safety rating compared to Indian spec model.Same may be in the case of Creta. So inside the cabin the space is same. Only boot is less in XUV 300 compared to mid size SUVs. But usually we are using boot very occasionally. I test drived Tata Nexon also but it is looking like an upgraded version of old Indica, with the same smily face grill and engine refinement level also not good

XUV 300 is the best in this segment. I had the test drive for both cars Nexon and XUV 300 at the same day with 10 minutes gap. Nexon has blaind spot in the right A pillar, it has big cabin noice, and a lot of body roll. Even clutch is also harder than XUV 300. But in XUV 300 is far better in all the above. No cabin noice, very less almost no body roll, very easy light clutch. Very fun to drive. More safer then Nexon because of all wheal disc brake and 6 air bags. The 17" allay wheel give you more stable and confident drive. Besides XUV is heavier than Nexon. XUV300 is the best in this segment. Go for XUV 300. It has fun to drive strong punchy diesel engine. After a test drive with Nexon,Kia Seltos I purchased XUV 300W8D(O) last week.😊

Yes it is the best in the segment. I test drives Seltos, Sonet, Creta, Venue, Nexon, Brezza but ended up with XUV 3OO. It has a punchy diesel engine with no other can offer. Very good build quality and a great road presence, decent milage and a very good product. It is most underrated one and definitely better than all other compact SUVs in the segment.
