As a mostly city & sometimes highway driver, I just went for the XUV. I test drove the Hexa too, and did feel that it is much more spacious, better music system & has better ride quality. But the compromise of heavy steering, tiny infotainment, no sunroof & Tata's yet-to-prove-itself after sales service is not a risk I'd take when I'm shelling out that much money. Waise bhi off-roading is not something I wake up every morning to do. (I admit Indian roads can be bad but it's not "off-road" wala bad) Not regretting the XUV one bit. After a day of drive, I'm always left waiting for the next one. Performance is just something else! But yeh bhi kahunga ki go for Hexa if space & ride comfort is your priority rather than features & driveability. Dono hi apne mitti ki hai bhai! 😃

We already own Tata muv and I must say nothing come close to Tata build quality awesome leather interiors and space is just enormous, if I had to buy another Tata I would go for again with Tata and Tata, nothing else never ever.

Xuv can't even match up with hexa in off road capability, music system by Harman, ride & handling balance, premium materials and comfort all add upto it... Don't forget massive 19 in alloys that no other Car even like fortuner offer... Best value for money hexa... Love Tata motors

The four driving modes offered are Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road and are available in HEXA....I think this is require in a SUV....XUV 500 dose not...as a suv HEXA is best....

Drove XUV500 w11 from Delhi to Raipur which is 1250 kms away.. what a comfort and peppy performance of the engine.. don’t know which speakers they have installed but they are very well performing.. can’t find the difference between them and kickr speakers... got the mileage of 13.5 before 1st service... I love my XUV500 and is completely satisfied by its performance...

thank you guys.. due to you guys i bought xuv500 which is good value for money... after watching 100s of videos finally i go with xuv500.. i also would like to high light some of the bad things xuv500 1. music system is not better as compare to hexa 2. steering behave some time very odd when you want to boost instantly especially in hilly areas. And it might be very risky 3. I am not at all impressed with the built quality... iron is used very low quality ... even on your bonut you can press with your thumb still this is very good value for money with overall features wise.

You have missed important points in this comparison.. First of all when you are comparing 7 seater cars you should know the purpose of seven seater.. Seven seaters are mostly used to carry whole family for outstation in vacations. Seven seater is not good for daily city driving.. You say Xuv is better to drive in city.. I say if you want a car for city drive better to go for five seater.. Now main purpose of seven seater is for long drives with whole family.. In this area HEXA beats Xuv.. HEXA has boot space but Xuv has no boot space.. So you have to fold both of rear seats to make space for luggage.. XUV is neither a good five seater nor a good 7 seater.. HEXA has better instrument cluster LED Display than XUV.. In HEXA captain seats are available which are missed in XUV.. HEXA middle seat is slide able.. Due to higher seating position HEXA gives a feel of proper SUV

Excellent points made. Also the build quality is way better in the Hexa. It has proven to be safe as seen after a head-on collision of a test car that was being driven at 140 Kmph, with all occupants walking out without any injuries. In fact there are numerous videos on KZbin of accidents involving Hexa and XUV in which one can clearly see the difference when it comes to safety with the XUVs quite often crumbling with the passenger area completely crushed. But I guess these things do not matter to the average Indian buyer and also this channel. So yes, this is another one of these highly questionable comparisons involving Tata vehicles. Makes one wonder what is going on.

Because it has the curtains for the sun 19 inch alloy wheels and the third row seating is the best for the big person and children and it has 12 volt socket in the end and the boot space is larger than the xuv 500

I dragged with my friends Hexa and plastered him lol. Guys, I've driven both. XUV500 3rd Gen is any day a monster power compared to Hexa. Hexa is extremely uncomfortable to drive in city due to its weight and rigid steering wheel. Finding a space to park will be the biggest problem. Whereas XUV 500 is fun to drive, easy to maneuver, very powerful and easy on City and Highways.
