I just started the video and I already see you full fold in east 1 when you were in tenpai. I am in pain.

I don't like how you played in this video at all. When we had a huge hand you greeded even more for a full chinitsu yakuman chance, but we were already down on points and we needed to be faster. By the time that hand was in tenpai everyone else was too and so someone else tsumo'd, why go for an even bigger greedy hand when we had a huge hand even without that many turns before? Also, folding that first hand when you were dealer and it's east 1 is a bad play too in my opinion.

@trueperson-o2z I’m still debating on the East 1… on one hand, pushing on my dealer turn is important and could have gone for it. Worse case I get hit and still have plenty of time to chase back. If I back down, I’m only reducing how much I get hit. 🥲

@@solo.man.gaming Nah, you don't back down if you're in east 1, tenpai, decent wait and/or good hand. You back down if you're not in tenpai, not in first place, are down on points, or your hand is not good. Playing scared like that will just lose you games. And then you play sometimes scared when you shouldn't and greedy when you shouldn't.

@@solo.man.gaming Fun fact: if you are dealer, you may lose by tsumo as much as you would lose by ron. Tsumo gives extra han after all. Sometimes even extra yaku.

​@@solo.man.gaming I was partially joking, but there is a minor difference in when dora indicator is revealed. If you win after an added or open kan, you don't get new dora, but with closed kan you do. Dora indicator is generally unpredictable, but you can estimate your chances before calling a kan, based on tiles you see. I just escaped 4th place with rinshan. Dealer's haneman is what you need with 3200 points. Chances? I called kan on the next turn after riichi and I had 1-sided wait. I think, it was my the most incredible comeback in 50+ games in Jade. I even got 1st in the end.
