Passionate people will save the world. Sarah is one of those people. From the moment I met Sarah when our mutual friends ‪@BonnyandGava‬ visited LA and invited us both to an NFL game, I was so inspired by her energy and mission in the world. She is SUCH a light. Sarah’s performance of “This is Me” from The Greatest Showman in American Sign Language is SO inspiring, courageous, and vulnerable. I had goosebumps throughout watching. So powerful. You can feel from the depths of her soul the light she emits and is inspiring so many with her message of getting others to believe in themselves and that being different IS beautiful.
Sarah is an actress, Olympic athlete, motivational speaker, and is the co-host of the @whatthedeaf podcast with @carlyweyers, a podcast by two deaf women where they share what its like to be living in a hearing world, where their voices are in their hands. They’re pulling back the curtain on assumptions made about being deaf in a hearing world.
