I don't mind the players huge salaries as their bodies and brains get abused & most have lifelong issues of some form but come on some of the $$ are getting a bit ridiculous. However, I really resent the NFL getting so rich & the Commissioner getting so rich. The Netflix deal for example, all the pay per view deals. How much money do they think we have? I'm retired & I'm tired of paying for so many different platforms to watch football specifically & sports in general. People are struggling and instead of letting us have our tiny little pleasures the NFL is twisting the knife in our bank accounts. I've taken to just watching the extended highlights on you tube and have cancelled a few platforms Paramount, Peacock and Netflix to start. I just keep Disney for the grandson. I also have had season tickets to the Jaguars since day 1. Keeping them for a few more years as I owe myself at least 1 year in our new stadium then maybe done. (I'll be 70 then so we'll see).
