@@susanknight7091 Hi Susan Thank you for your reply. I love clothes and have been through the yo yo dieting thing and losing interest in clothes and then gaining back enthusiasm In fact the only time I actively lost weight without trying was looking after a long term partner through illness and ultimate bereavement and because we didnt live together it was very stressful taking care of my own family and him. Anyway too much information. I cant really recommend any particular brand myself because being a "woman of slender means" financially I usually shop in charity shops. There are some great You Tubers who do mature fashion blogs e.g. Tinas Talk Time and Caroline Mrs M to quote a couple. All the best.

My fav piece has to be the cover up , but please don’t wear it as a cover up 😂 Cover up’s are supposed to be baggy this isn’t , it looks absolutely gorgeous worn as a dress . Hi Susan The dress to me wasn’t a cover up as they are normally loose. Much better as a dress. The shorts t shirt and top was nice too. The second dress I have got but in different colours but I find it very cool and flattering. One is in rust and the other blue. I bought these on next clearance last year and am now wearing them. Paired with flat sandals as I cannot wear heels anymore due my spinal problem. Your confidence has grown since you first started this channel and shows you as a real person and not a statistic. Well done on your 1k subscription. You deserve it for all the hard work that you have put on this channel and it pays off in the end. . All the best and see you on the next one xx

Hi Susan first of all congratulations on your 1,000 subscribers and being monetised your hard work is paying off. I like you in all of the outfits I especially liked the bright dress and the shorts and shirt when the shirt was open. I’m not keen on the side by side try ons as I like it when vloggers talk about the fit etc but obv this just my personal preference. Keep up the good work!

Hi Pamela, very useful feedback, thank you. I am playing about with my format as my videos were getting too long and my anaylitics were suggesting lots of viewers were getting bored and clicking off! Which just sends lots of negative feedback to KZbin who then stop recommending my video in peoples feed. Although you will see the next two Asda ones in same format ones after that will either be me wearing the clothes and talking about them or the old format of showing then wearing them. I'd really appreciate your feedback on which one you prefer. xx

I love the cover-up! It would be cute coming off the beach into a restaurant for the evening or lunch. You can't beat that price! The next dress is nice, but the color is not especially pleasing with your complexion. Sort of drains the color out of your face, sadly. The shorts look really well made and fit you perfectly! Looser, wider shorts are what is in style now. And the zebra print blouse looks fantastic with the shorts open, buttoned or tied. Super!! (I had to look up "stone" because I had no idea what that was!! Good going!)

Right here goes , wow, what an amazing haul you’ve got there…..bargain prices too! I love the neon aztec print, either as a dress or cover up, up very flattering! I love a notch. As at 5 foot one with a short body as often a plain V-neck plunges far past my boobs!😊 I really liked the second dress too, but that’s the case in point as far as aV-neck and me. lol…..it definitely suits you though! Just to say that I think you could still pull the back tie in a bit! Wow those shorts; not too big at all, although I think you were indicating that they felt too big? They looked really lovely with the zebra print blouse with the white vest top underneath…..one of my fav looks! The batwing arm cover on that top is perfect! Can’t wait for a part two tomorrow and I’m now off to Asda online to do my own shopping in George! 😅 Take care Xx

I think this may be my first comment but I've been lurking in the background watching for a bit. 😊 So my thoughts for what they are worth: beach cover up was nice but I think better as an ordinary dress, just because the bodice was quite fitted. I think beach cover ups should be a bit more loose and flowy, but as a dress this was flattering on you. The second dress looked lovely but you did seem to be adjusting the top a fair bit during the try on - would this get on your nerves a bit? Shorts and top definitely the best outfit! I actually thought the wide leg looked great, almost skirt like so a bit more feminine and the top looked fab once you tied it in a knot to give you more of a waist. 👍 Looking forward to parts 2 & 3! Wow that makes me feel so great. To be honest I've always been a leave it out too trying to hide that big belly, its only recently that I've felt the confidence to tuck things in and even realising myself how much better I look. It's all trial and error but I am slowly learning and if im helping others with my trials and errors all the better. Take care Jane xx

For me i don't think the dresses suit you, the first one is too heavy for a beach cover it & something tells me Bec its quite bright you'd struggle to find a time to wear it, the sleeves seemed a little long too.. The second dress is ok but i think it's the colour more than anything I'm not keen on, shorts/tops all ok & i think you'll use them...... When you've lost weight it's tempting to go out & celebrate by buying lots of new things but my mum always used to say ask yourself honestly are you ever likely to wear it? I think lots of clothes look great on the hanger but not so much when tried on

So true many items are such a disappointment, that is why I try so many clothes on and Im extremely critical about what I do eventually buy. I compare trying on clothes like kissing a frog, you need to kiss a lot to find a prince! lol xx
