Mahopac FD 18-2-1 + 18-1-1 + 18-4-1 + 18-5-1 + 18-8-1 + Town of Carmel PD C30 + C40 + C45 Responding

Mahopac Fire Department 18-2-1, 18-1-1, 18-4-1, 18-5-1, and 18-8-1, along with Town of Carmel Police Department Car 30, Car 40, and Car 45 responding to a possible electrical fire on South Lake Boulevard in Mahopac, New York. 18-4-2 and 18-6-1 from the Mahopac Fire Department also responded to this call, but are not seen in this video. 18-1-1 reported there had been an active fire in a rear computer room that was knocked down and that units were venting.
The units seen responding are:
18-2-1 - 2012 Spartan Gladiator/4 Guys (1500GPM/1000GWT)
18-1-1 - 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe
Car 30 - Ford Explorer
Car 40 - Dodge Charger
18-4-1 - 2018 E-One Cyclone II (1500GPM/2530GWT)
Car 45 - Dodge Charger
18-5-1 - 2001 E-One Cyclone II (2000GPM/300GWT/95FT RM)
18-8-1 - 2012 Ford E250

The ladder isn’t a Cyclone 2, that’s an original Cyclone (Cyclone 1). Awesome video though!

Thanks! It can't be an original Cyclone. The original Cyclone was replaced by the Cyclone TC in the early 90s. The Cyclone TC was then replaced by the almost identical Cyclone II in 1997. The Cyclone II today looks a little different but the name hasn't changed since '97.

LowHudEmergency gotcha, I still call em old cyclones because of the quite a few differences once they changed the looks and insides. I’ve never seen a cyclone 2 that old before, so my apologies

I live in Brewster (technically southeast) and go to Mahopac every Friday for my dogs daycare place, and I order to drive through just on a normal day is hard enough. You need some real skill to drive through there!

It was recently redone, the old one was literally falling apart, the new one is much larger mostly in part because Mahopac is not necessarily large, but the houses are much closer together and there are more people, as apprised to say my town in southeast..

The rescue truck is a open cab that's a problem

So Fire Control Screwed us up, instead of telling us to man our station, like 861,(Preble NY car 1) said, fire control told us to respond to the accident even though 861 told us to man. We had our rescue backed out, and had 4-5 people already geared up, and it was a mix up. So we had. Like 10 people come to the station for no reason at all.

Some cities have a Public Safety Department. Police and Fire are combined. Officers have to go through a police and fire academy. Usually they rotate duties every few months, or every year. When they are serving as a police officer they will have their turnout gear in the trunk, so they can respond to fires and provide additional man power. Also, sense they have policing powers, a fire engine can pull you over if you commit a traffic violation (seen it happen many times in my home town of Rohnert Park, CA).
