So funny, I'm watching this in bed while I'm straight colouring with waterbased markers. I'm even using a lap pillow with a table top 😅 Not sure if I'll ever get to the pencil stage, but I'm enjoying myself.

I just really appreciate how you explain how you color Maia 😊 I love how clear & simple your explanations are & I love the end result ❤️ I do not want to do only pencil work on my pages because I get bored, so I do use different supplies on them, especially Kirby's pages 😊 I want to try having a book to just use as a huge WIP 😀 and have different books with WIP in them too like you!!! My book in progress is totally the jungle book. I have been doing a bunch of just backgrounds. I totally get it! The glitter markers are pretty cool! I love using water-based markers. Thank you Maia for the nice ideas! I am not really a beginner, but you can always learn something. I saw the vid from Conny (coloring alchemist) and she shows how she color with Faber Castell pitt pens. She is blending with those pens and i tryd that also but have problems with bleed through the paper. I don’t color with waterbased markers anymore sinds i do not buy color by number books anymore. So i need to find a idea to use them up. That’s said i don’t like the streakyness of waterbased markers, my brain can not handle it, LOL!😂😂😂😂.

You have such a distinct style and I love seeing how you approach pages! Such a good idea to only really focus the purposeful shading on a few elements, rather than overwork the entire page and frustrate myself. Will keep that in mind!

Hello Maia. Love your art space Gorgeous. Just started watching your video. I wanted to mention or ask whether you have Lyra Ferby pencil crayons. I am sure you know them. If I find my background is not blended enough or not happy with the result I use my Lyra Ferby's. The colours you will definately like .Metallic, neon ect. I find the Ferby's opaque and smooth out uneven lay down whether waterbased markers acrylic washes ect. Maia I am sure you have them. Thankyou for the update. Oh I am am Def going to get those highlighters there are different sets which look great. Never thought of using those .Thankyou Maia for your time 🌺🌺🌺

@@coloredbymaia6476 honestly, I don't know! Brown maybe is too dull color for such colourful page? Pink might make them dissapear between those pink flowers, but it might look simply nice in pink-blue page. Traditional colors of yellow-orange looks like good combination for triadic color according to color wheel It's so difficult to decide! Coloring is not relaxing for me 😂
