Tx so much 4 this tutorial! I Always avoided books that hv snow in 'em like Xmas or winter -themed as I didn't no how 2 colour snow. I've watched thousands of vids on yt . However so far no-one explained it in such a simple way! Now I'm gonna grab all my Xmas and winter books and start colouring! Tx again Maia and Happy holidays !

Super helpful to see your snow techniques and I like how you simplify it. I was using some of these methods last night, but then I decided to experiment by filling in more of the mounds of snow on the ground but I left the top area white as a highlight of snow (worked okay with mounds below cottages). But, I had to go back and fix the others with acrylic paint pen dots, helped it a bit. I'm going to have to get out my pan pastels. Do you use a fixative or does the blending with the tool keep the soft pastels in place for you?
