Maia Yes those Colleen coloured pencils are from Japan. Colleen are popular here those were my very first set of coloured pencils. Yippee!!!cYou are amazing!! I have learned so much....everytime I watch!!! Thank you so very much my sweet friend! I too love Chinese New Year!! I have a dear sweet friend who I am helping with her english who has explained some of the traditions and I am amazed at their celebrations! Thank you for the other channel as well....I am loving the mixed media...I was really into it when it first came out. I love mixing it with coloring. Keep doing what you are doing! I have dug out all my watercolors and have been obsessed with them lately. You make it so easy and I love your easy style!! It helps me let go of perfectionism and just enjoy the process!!! Hi Maia !!! Here in the Phillippines there is a colleen pencils too. And they are amazing. I love coloring it on the go!!! Its my favourite affordable student grade pencils here. They are also available in single ones , ( i mean not double heads ) in 30 , 72 and 120 sets. I have the 72 sets and use it a lot.

Are we sharing a brain? I've just put the Painterly Days books in my cart - yes, ALL OF THEM - and I have until Monday afternoon to decide which one to get this month and which two to save for later because no, I cannot afford 3 at once 🤣😭. I'm trying to incorporate more water based media into my coloring, especially paints and markers, so I was specifically shopping for watercolor coloring books and these are just beautiful. So are the hot foil stamped ones. I'm getting more watercolor paper for my PDF's, and I'm probably going to be trying the Ohuhu Pupe markers. Or the Chromatek 54 set of watercolor brush pens. Haven't decided. I'm very used to the Kuretake Zig Clean Color brush pens and the Chromatek have a similar looking brush, so I'm waffling badly lol. EDIT: sorry, I'm commenting as I watch. I just have to say, I love how excited you are about coloring. You're so joyful about the whole process and all of the things. I mean , it's refreshing. A lot of people just do their unboxing, and they go through the motions, and there's not really any spark. But you are absolutely so excited about the whole craft itself and that's what I love the most about your videos. By the way I have Colleen pencils, I have the full set, and they're a joy to work with. I like them better than some of my artist grade pencils, and I'm not sure why they're not better known. They're wonderful, I absolutely love working with them. So many things, so little time. 😊
