Either turn your hip over more to make it a full roundhouse, or open your hips up more to make it a proper 45 round kick. You're losing both power and range with the way you were doing it in this video. You're improving though. Keep the practice up! You'll polish your technique eventually!

If movements lack effectiveness and cannot defend you, you are not learning martial arts. Go join a gym and do their cardio kick boxing or boxing based stuff. It will be just as useful for you. The first thing a martial art is, is combat skills.

@ToTheBatmobile you're missing the point here. The Fact is Jake Mace's Kung Fu isn't something you should be using in real fights you'll get hurt. He has no real foundation in his skills he makes up stories to boost up his status so folks can throw money at him. So before you go off shooting your mouth off know your facts and for the record buddy you're not a Martial Artist i bet those guys who have enough common sense not only see how Jake is not a real Martial Artist, he's a con man with poor kung fu skills who don't use them for self defense i cannot speak for anyone here but some of us aren't violent. Jake on the otherhand isnt a cool a dude a cool dude and it's easy for you to talk big but i don't see you posting any videos so i wouldn't be shooting off your mouth if i were.
