This is my great grand father movie syed Abdul Rahim sahab the Golden Era of football 1952-1962 this story based on true event the legendary coach who sacrifice for india and he died with lung cancer I am very thankful that ajay devgan sir playing and important role of syed Abdul Rahim sahab. Last year it was for manikandan for jai bhim... In 2018 it was for mammootty.. for the movie peranbu.... That year the lobby gives award to ayushman khuranna .. 😊 it was only planned... I dont think.. these people deserves that....

Kolkata derby is no less than El Classico. Real Madrid areas were not willing to follow the king of Spain leading a revolution which later transformed into football based rivalry. In that manner Mohunbagan is Barcelona and East Bengal is Real Madrid. (Vice Versa)

@@ritzmarcos7733 first of all, we won that match by beating East Bengal 🥳 🎊 🦐 💚❤️ Secondly, I would say Kolkata Derby is more akin to The Old Firm Derby between Rangers and Celtics. Rangers are the native population while Celtics are the immigrants quite similar to Mohunbagan as the natives/Rangers while East Bengal is the one with immigrants from East Bengal fka East Pakistan aka Bangladesh/Celtics

There was once a time when Hockey was at the forefront. It all started to change when India won the cricket WC in 1983. Indian football has never won any major trophy which can kickstart the football revolution in the country. There's a huge population in India which watches football frantically but even after 10 years of ISL, Indian players are not able to make their mark on global stage. Stop blaming cricket for everything, in fact BCCI once provided a sizeable amount to every other sports federation of the country for their development but instead of using it to develop the infra, Sarkari Babus ate the money. It's not BCCI and cricket's fault that football is not growing in this country. One or two good matches now and then can never inspire a whole generation to watch any game.

It was June 2018, Football WC was going on, i asked a guy in ofc , did u watch Football last night, he said "humlogoke wahan Football mein kisika interest nhi hai, we are only mad about cricket"......im not demeaning his community or his love for cricket, even i love cricket, but the problem is that loving only cricket as if its the only sports in our country is like being a frog in a well, who will never come out of the well and see other things in the world. When Football World Cup happens the whole world partipate, its like a Global Fest where everyone is there except my own country and that really hurts......like im cheering for Messi, im cheering M'Bappe, but when that day will come when ill get to cheer for an Indian Footballer.

You can say the same about Football in soo many Countries!!! The whole South America plays Football and Football onlyyy... The only Countries that I can Think of who play multiple sports well are England, Australia ( talking about Team Sports).. Other than that China, US and other top countries play a Lot of Olympic Sports..

Well because football has many many benefits. You don't understand. More than physical aspects football embraces cultural and community aspects and promotes representation of everyone. It allows one to express themselves like brazil. Do read about brazil joga bonito football ideology. It's a philosophy literally other sports do not have that in them. In that aspect football is THE PERFECT sport for india not even kidding. Thats why many countries cannot leave football at all. It's engrained in their culture for generations. Cricket does not have that. It was always elitist sport.
