That was a great maiden flight,and I love the green on the plane it looks awesome,great job

You might want to set the Flaps deployment to "independent" and set the Full Flap to 3 sec, if you're set on your other settings deploy time. It'll tame the balloon, but slow the plane down really nice on approach. Sweet woody! 👍

Put some rubber tires on it. Rolls smoother and sounds better on landing. DUBRO’S are nice!

Yes balsa is always better and even better with fourstroke.

I like how the old becomes new, I have been building balsa for nearly 50 years with a concession to balsa sheeted foam wings on a few.

Nice plane, nice flying! Thanks. I live far from the USA, I have never seen that kind of landing strip, is it a tarp on top of sand?

Saaayyy jay, what if someone's budget went up from the volantex stuff? What would.you recommend for a good, fun, reliable beginner ish plane? Do U reckon the warbirds are still the good option? Or like a timber ? Thanks!
@Anxmxc5 ай бұрын
So, if you like warbirds, the 400mm eachine/volantex, try the UMX line. The timber ultra micro is okay, but takes a bit if experience. Try the ultra micro conscendo!
@dynevor63275 ай бұрын
@@Anxmxc Forget the small stuff, go 1200mm plus, bigger flies better.
@Anxmxc5 ай бұрын
@dynevor6327 That's an opinion. Bigger isn't always better. Only if horizon hobby would put proper servos and reciever boards like the ar410e in ultra micros.
@Anxmxc5 ай бұрын
@Pancakerman3 also depends. Do you have a flying field near you? Or a park? If, like me, the nearest flying field is 3 hours away. So I just take my ultra micros to the nearest park. But sure, if budget allows and you have a field to fly at, a big plane isn't a bad option.
@dynevor63275 ай бұрын
@@Anxmxc That is also an opinion. Try building or if beyond you go ARF. Foamies are built cheap and cost is out of proportion. Try Seagull Models, VQ Models for starters as an ARF and use the best equipment that you can afford. Bigger definitely flies better and can handle more conditions, the couple of foamies that I have gather dust.

Ain't NOTHING flies like Balsa and ply. Even carbon fuse and wing planes don't fly as nice as balsa and ply. There's something special about balsa and ply builds and once you get used to flying them you won't want to fly anything else.

Warum so schnelle Landegeschwindigkeit?? Selbst ohne Klappen, mehr Motordrosselung musste doch gehen. Das Ding hat bestimmt niedrige Flächenbelastung und unkritische Flugeigenschaften. Der Preis für so ein winziges Modell ist schön etwas salzig...

Sorry but ARF's don't make you a builder. You pieced a puzzle together. Unless you built it from scratch can you call someone a builder. And what is bolsa?
@dynevor63275 ай бұрын
This is not an ARF but a PNP as per the description, hardly a puzzle just a few connections, supply battery, supply and plug in RX and bind to TX.
