Thanks Mar. Did you consider debadging the van so people won't think it's an RV. Without the badges and decals, it'll still look like a commercial van.

Thank you for sharing your journey. We are planning to buy one of this van soon. So how many miles per hour when you load everything on your van?

Hi! Did you mean how many miles per gallon when the van is fully loaded?

Was curious if you still like the Solis? I’m looking at it given the price point and have 3 small children so need the forward facing sofa and seatbelts. Was hoping to be as off the grid as possible though. Thanks!

We love it! The 3 point seat belts are one of must for us when we were looking for an RV. We love the sofa bed because it gives us additional seating for 2. There's really enough room for 3 on the sofa but we still need to find a way to have a lap belt. Probably doable too because there are two metal loops on the floor in the back.

Awesome! You guys look like you’re having so much fun! I see you have a Jackery. Do you have a generator? What size Jackery do you have and is it adequate? We just purchased a Jackery 1000. We love the P but we’re in souther Florida and worry about “no air conditioner”. We may have to go to the PX with AC and Generator. Thank you for sharing your adventure! 🤙

Hi there, Henry here. Our Jackery is the old 240W. We only need the 110AC for the coffee grinder and charging laptops so it was more than adequate for us. I plugged in a couple of 200W~ inverters so we don't use the Jackery anymore (only as a backup). Regarding the airconditioner, we never really worry about it as we are always on the go and when parked, we are always venturing outside. Also, if we were to go with the PX, might as well, get the Travato if it's just us couple. Thanks for watching our videos. Have fun with your Solis!

Are you able to use the generator when boon docking? You said you were getting an inverter? I thought the gen could run the 120 volt plugs?
@LubongAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sweetest. Our Solis is a 59P, it doesn't come with the generator. We've boondocked a few times already and honestly, the 2 AGM batteries are sufficient enough to supply us the power we need (laptops, coffe grinder, usb charging of phones and camera batteries). As we used our van a lot more, we learned that we probably won't be needing the high cap multifunction inverter anymore. We'll talk about these things in our future videos.

Hi Henry n Donna. Love the video. We are seriously considering Solis because it can take 7 passengers. There are 6 of us at average height 5’6” at 125lbs. If you have to turn around driver n passenger seats toward dinette, do you get space of 52” X 69” at front lounge to sleep 2 people crosswise ? What is the bed size on the loft ? Thx for your informations.
@LubongAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Yanny. I've seen a custom bed that you can place over between the bench seat and the cabin seats (swiveled around). I believe it was made for the Hymer Aktiv. I'm not sure about the area size. The loft bed size is 52"x79". Btw, the Solis can only seat 6 people (legally, if we're talking about seatbelts). Also, fyi, we were able to sleep 6 in the van - 2 on the sofa/bed, 3 on the loft and I slept on the floor between the bench seat and the driver seat.

Got it, thx Henry. Do you also install Sumo spring at the front ? Is it possible to equip ducted AC in the van ?
@LubongAdventures4 жыл бұрын
@@yannyheng58 I installed Sumo springs on both front and rear. For the AC, I saw a guy on FB installed AC on his van in place of the maxxair vent fan.

Lubong Adventures Henry, thx for the info on AC. You sure have done a lot of research. 😀👍😎
