Despite all the negative things being said about Maidstone, I found this walkabout tour great & it brought back some fond memories. Parts of the town were baffling to me until I saw familiar landmarks such as the Cannon & then I was able to get my bearings. I'm guessing if ever I were to visit again the only way I'd find my way around is by remembering the various roads. If I were driving I'd need a police escort as I'd probably break a lot of rules due to road layouts changing & as far as parking goes I'd probably have my car towed by the end of the day! Anyway, thanks for the memories & whoever made this, brilliant job many thanks! 😎

Non seo thumbnail 7.Not sharing on social media platforms and your KZbin channel is a lot of trouble. Despite 'modernising' maidstone is a shell of its past. Shops closed, mosty vape, phone repairs shops, turkish barber laundering rife and mostly international residents. Shame

With all due respect your looking at one region of Maidstone without considering fremlin walk the mall or the high street. from Maidstone East train station to the entrance of the mall where there's at least over 50 shops I could list that are well established high street shops. We live in a put down culture which is damaging Maidstone has everything a city has and more if judging it by modern standards not the outdated cathedral argument.
